"The hotel is just a metaphor," a bellboy informs us in this amusing ad for streaming service Now TV. It's a neat way to illustrate the amount of content users can access, and the hotel itself is appealingly distinctive in a Wes Anderson kind of way. Let's hope the unusual guests he encounters don't forget to tip - there's something a bit sinister about this chap.

This atmospheric trailer from BBC Creative gives us glimpses of explosive scenes to come in Albert Square. A secret affair between a teacher and student is revealed by a slow-motion kiss in the rain, but the shocked reactions from other characters suggest there won't be anything romantic about the fall-out. Martin even stops eating his fish and chips at the sight - brace yourself indeed.

Willie Nelson's 'On the Road Again' scores this charming ad promoting the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. A rugby ball crosses all manner of terrain in order to reach the players' tunnel before kick-off. It's a neat way of reflecting the tournament's international reach, and Outsider's Jim Gilchrist ensures a bouncy treatment. Lovely ball work, too.

Unkle may be a constantly changing act, but they know when consistency pays off. 'Cowboys or Indians' is their latest collaboration with directors Warren du Preez and Nick Thornton-Jones, and the pair deliver a typically trippy promo. Murky shades and hues ooze across the screen as bodies shift in and out of focus.

You can tell Harry Kane is enjoying his new Nike Hypervenom boots... shame, then, that the Tottenham striker is currently nursing an ankle injury. While Spurs and England fans would rather see him back on the pitch, this colourful ad fizzes with energy as Kane summons the elements in training. Premier League defences will welcome the respite from the storm.

Ah... Lias Saoudi. Where to start? The louche frontman of Fat White Family has an alter ego - Johnny Rocket - who sings with The Moonlandingz; a band that is, in itself, an alter ego for the Eccentronic Research Council. Here, his wasted hero sings an elegy to a woman called Anna while Slow Club's Rebecca Taylor comes on like a Yorkshire Julee Cruise.

Not only does this latest have a distinct look all of its own, it comes with a music track that gives it extra clout and credibility.

Fresh from their on-stage collaboration at the Grammys, The Weeknd and Daft Punk star in this slice of retro sci-fi for ‘I Feel It Coming’. The Canadian singer mourns the loss of his celestial amour as he mooches about, stranded on a rocky planet like an ill-fated love interest from Space 1999. The early MTV video aesthetic - complete with control track flickers – is terrific; ideal for the track’s summery Eighties vibe.

It's tricky to sell kids talking about catchment areas and OFSTED, but this bright film just about pulls it off. Great if you're selling in the right school location; not so great if you aren't.

Having starred in ‘Stranger Things,’ Joe Keery should feel at home in Eighties throwbacks. Now the tousled heartthrob takes the lead in this lovely homage to 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' from Domino's. Keery navigates backyards and trampolines in a race home. He's not trying to evade parents or thwart a vengeful sister, though... the man's got pizza on the way.

This ad for Milka chocolate has a touch of the Hunger Games about it, as children compete to gather the most Easter eggs by any means necessary (including one particularly creative girl who attacks her rival with bees). Disaster strikes when a chocolate bunny falls out of reach, and the youngsters work together to find a whimsical solution - with some unexpected help from a spiky friend.

It's all part of their 'Do Your Thing' campaign, which champions the bravery of small businesses. This film shows the birth of the beautiful game... sort of.

B&M have apparently created the world's first TV commercial aimed at dogs. They consulted 'dog behavioural specialists' and everything... really. We're not sure the subtitles on the 'Woof' version are an accurate translation of dogspeak, so we've provided you with the version in which an actor pretends he's talking to a dog instead. The whole thing is - ahem- barking.

Gone are athletes endorsing the benefits of protein... instead the brand has charged director Richard Jung - master of delectable food ads - with making Quorn seem tasty rather than virtuous. A convinced VO from Alan Davies is the perfect accompaniment.

Since reviving their 1960s logo last year, the supermarket have emphasised traditional values and community spirit - the kind of things you see immortalised in grainy film footage. Such thinking inspires this affectionate Mother’s Day ad as a woman treats mum and the whole family to a filmic trip down memory lane.

A hundred seconds spent in the company of Morgan Heim gives us a real insight into the conservation photographer's life. It's a tribute to director Jay Buim that - despite its brevity - this film never feels rushed. Cinematographer Kyle D Repka manages to capture the beautiful snowy landscapes in a fashion which reminds us that this is Heim's obsession and provides us with a sense that she is a highly capable photographer without us needing to see her work.
