J2O
"Pool Party"
30s
16 Nov 2016
J2O's inflatable pool party looks like it could turn into the world's squeakiest orgy if that horse and spaceman don't tone things down. This sunny ad is the perfect antidote to winter blues, featuring a crowd of DJ loving monkeys and an unfortunate end for a juice-loving dinosaur. Another reason you shouldn't open bottles with your teeth, folks.

Rubicon
"Spring Fling"
30s
11 Aug 2016
Oo-er! Rubicon seems to be suggesting that H2O ain't such an innocent drink after all. Lady Spring-Water is encouraging some rather muscular mangos et al to get fruity with her while her flavourless hubby looks on, scandalised. Is this what you want in your beverage? Probably, because it's promising lots of flavour for only 15 calories. Certainly attention-grabbing.

Orangina
"E4 Sponsorship Stings"
40s
20 Jul 2016
E4's animated 'E stings' have long been a crucial component of the entertainment channel's identity, and a new partnership with Orangina successfully manages to infuse these idents with the juice brand's strain of Gallic quirkiness. This selection of imaginative bottle shakes demonstrates Pencil Bandit's distinctive character designs and bold colours while the broadcaster's purple presence is never far from the citrus fun.

Vita Coco
"Karaoke"
60s
23 May 2016
There's a myriad of ways for you to work up a sweat, be it through exercise, physical labour, or mental exertion. Eventually, you're giving it your all on a beach hut karaoke stage, and it's this unlikely scenario which Vita Coco pitches as the ideal situation for some life-restoring coconut water. It's fair to say a mustachioed Frenchman giving a creative rendition of Celine Dion's 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now' is an oddity, but it's an enjoyable one.

Tropicana
"Kisses"
10s
17 May 2016
It seems Tropicana's Little Glass is suffering from another bout of shyness. David Mitchell's VO attempts to coax the diminutive mascot out of his shell by asking about his success rate with the immune system. As it turns out, it's rather high. Good for him, though there had better be a powerful dishwasher nearby - lipstick on glass is a ruddy pain to remove.

Tropicana
"Tiredness"
10s
6 Apr 2016
For those who attended the British Arrows last month, it's slightly strange to hear David Mitchell lending his voice to a glass of orange juice for an ad. Especially as he's clearly pretty committed to the cause of making it sound like it has bags of character. At 10" this is a slight addition to the series but it maintains the tempo of a sweet campaign.

Tropicana
"Notes"

4 Apr 2016
You can look as hard as you can, but you won't find any large glasses in Tropicana's cupboard - they've most likely all been chucked in the bin. The fruit juice brand aim to avoid the ire of the anti-sugar brigade by taking the 'big things come in small packages' approach. Thus, all we need to absorb the health benefits shown is to drink a Little Glass-sized helping. Hmm, is that a face we can trust?

Tropicana
"Little Glass"
20s
16 Mar 2016
Is Tropicana trying to sidestep any involvement in the growing furore about the sugar in our diets? By emphasising that a small glass of their juice contains all the benefits we've traditionally thought a larger serving provides, it can claim it's not encouraging us to consume gallons of fructose and erode our teeth in the process.

Compal Essential
"Some People..."
45s
13 Jan 2016
Eating fruit can be a bind... if you'll forgive the pun. And we can't always be bothered to consume the real thing if we want to enjoy its wholesome properties. Up steps the advertised product which enables us to uncap a bottle and enjoy everything fruit has to offer without a knife in sight. A bright, modern approach serves this product well.

Innocent Smoothies
"Time Machine"
20s
4 Jan 2016
Innocent Smoothies has always used an understated tone in its marketing and here they've added a note of self-deprecation as they concede there's nothing magical about their drink. It's not made using a futuristic time machine... but a blender. But it will provide you with a hit of all the good stuff your diet has been lacking because of Christmas excess.

Orangina
"C'est Shook"
60s
26 Aug 2015
Orangina ads don't often hove into view, but when they do they tend to feature animals doing unusual things. This spot from Grey breaks that trend. Set in a grand but colourless hotel on the coast, it has two purse-lipped gentlemen waiting for the lift with their pet pooch, who's just - well - being pooch-like. An equally pastel-adorned boy barges past them and presses the lift button. What will be revealed when the doors slide open?

Innocent Smoothies
"Fruit To Mouth"
20s
24 Aug 2015
Ever the benevolent sort, Innocent offers its own solution when it comes to persuading a stubborn child to get their essential portions of fruit and veg. While this curly-haired young 'un shows short shrift to healthy options in their common form, a carton of the brand's blended refreshment proves far more agreeable.

Rubicon
"Beach Dreaming"
30s
18 Aug 2015
If you can't go to the beach, let the beach come to you. That's what this fun spot for Rubicon juice promises as a couple in a shopping centre are instantly transported to an exotic paradise after imbibing the drink. The duty manager watches while the couple squat as if jumping into warm, tropical waters, and he decides to get in on the action, with questionable results. Not - under any circumstances - to be confused with the new Durex Play ad.

Innocent Smoothies
"Waiting Game"
30s
14 Jul 2015
This charming piece from Innocent reveals that patience is key when it comes to choosing the ingredients that go into their range of juices and smoothies. Our stoic man and dog duo endure the changing seasons and some hefty hair growth before the raspberries are ready to be picked. Jaunty stuff, plus some nice work from the not so innocent couple in the background.

Vita Coco
"Stupidly Simple"
30s
17 Jun 2015
This entertaining ad for Vita Coco lampoons every possible self-improvement fix around before suggesting something a tad more natural. The breathless VO informs us that we need "giga foods" and "wet liquids" to attain perfect health. Instead of signing up for the StomachSwap diet, we're offered a far more simple solution in Vita Coco's brand of coconut water. Worth a re-watch to spot the amusing disclaimers dotted all over the screen.

Don Simon
"Spanish Oranges"
20s
8 Jun 2015
"Lob a Manuel-style VO in, show a few stock shots and a close-up of the packaging... job's a good 'un." That's the thinking we suspect went into this ad for Don Simon orange juice. We also suspect the line "Juice runs on our family" was seized upon as a gem, without stopping to consider that it sounds somewhat unpalatable to say the least.

Loka
"Blueberry Wranglers"
50s
25 May 2015
In this amusing Swedish commercial, we're introduced to the men who wrangle blueberry bushes for a living. It's an exceedingly silly spoof which draws its humour from an absurd comparison between the protagonists and those responsible for shepherding young animals. It's a great testimony to the skill of director Tom Malmros that it's so dryly delivered.

Frooti
"Power of Song"
50s
28 Mar 2015
After unsuccessfully trying to shift a huge mango using a collection of tiny strong men; an elephant; a rocket; a tortoise and even ramming it with a giant penis, it turns out the best way to get things moving it through the power of song. This is enormously silly and demonstrates we aren't the only nation who know how to put our tongues in our cheeks.

Tropicana
"A Splash of This"
30s
17 Feb 2015
Apparently there's not just orange juice in Tropicana Pure Premium... there's a dash of this, a splash of that... nothing specific, but from the imagery that goes with it we're meant to assume the drink provides energy and a zesty joi de vivre. What we can't help but notice though, is that it's the third ad in as many days that uses the track 'Sunny' for brand association.

J2O
"There's Joy in the Blend"
30s
16 Nov 2014
You have to hand it to J2O for inventiveness: combining breakdancing with old Irish folk dancing is not something you expect to see every day. But this blend of rollicking fiddles and eye-watering moves stands as a visual metaphor for the unexpected flavour combinations in a bottle of the drink in question; and if it's as unusual as the scene suggests it'll be one helluva beverage.

Tropicana
"Recharge"
30s
28 Jul 2014
Coffee too clichéd, and OJ just damned unsophisticated? Then welcome to Tropicana Energy, the caffeine-infused fruit drink with a kick like a mule but which still provides one of your five a day. Think of it as the new water. Instead of swigging expensive liquid you could get for free from a tap, you can swig something vaguely more interesting and possibly start a conversation with a hot colleague about caffeine intolerance.

Club Orange
"El Zero - The Fruit Whisperer"
40s
30 Jun 2014
Whisperers seem to be in at the moment. Houses, bikes, and now soft drinks get the treatment - and jolly good fun it is too. In this spot for Club Orange, a boy discovers he has special fruit-exploding powers, and the utterances he makes as he brings his skills to bear on an innocent orange are delivered with the, er, zest of someone who's really enjoying himself. Great stuff.

Innocent Juice
"Secret Apples"
30s
5 May 2014
There's a secret ingredient in Innocent's blend of juices and they're not telling us what it is. It's a clever variation on one of television advertising's oldest tricks - one that had washing powders boasting of 'secret ingredient X' in grainy black and white ads in the late 1950s because sometimes mystery works a hell of a lot better than full disclosure.

Innocent Juice
"Mango Turning"
30s
4 May 2014
We really like this ad for Innocent Juice. The tongue-in-cheek use of Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart and the increasing amusement of the mango grower who has evidently been asked to hold up a fruit more times that he can believe they possibly need really help drive the message home that the mangoes require constant care in order to produce the perfect taste. Very sweet without being sickly.
