KFC
"Removal Van"
30s
27 March 2017
UK Fast Food Restaurants

This KFC ad reminds us that age doesn't guarantee wisdom. Jim and John are travelling along a country road when the latter tells the former not to risk the tight squeeze ahead. Boss knows best, of course, and it results in their own removal van being, well, removed. So kind of the roadside recovery truck to bring some KFC for the pair, eh?

McDonald's
"Monopoly"
20s
21 Mar 2017
McDonald's annual Monopoly ad returns - this time with a scientific twist. While the pair of researchers here aren't exactly Indiana Jones, they react with appropriate excitement when they stumble upon a pristine artefact they've been searching for. As they rush to preserve the precious parchment, however, disaster strikes...

KFC
"Irish Chicken"
74s
16 Mar 2017
Randy O'Brien is back to introduce KFC's O'Sanders Feast just in time for St Paddy's Day - and yes, it does include potatoes. In one of BBH's final pieces of work for the brand, Randy attempts to make a '200%' Irish meal through a montage of stereotypes sure to make anyone of Irish descent chuckle: huge families, rain, and, of course, leprechauns.

McDonald's
"Middle Seat"
60s
2 Mar 2017
This Kiwi McDonald’s ad offers an amusing spin on being a middle child as the girl endures every kind of indignation that comes with having the middle seat. Whether it’s selfish brothers, over-friendly dogs or the weekly shop, it’s tough being at the centre of it all.

KFC
"Dirty Weekend"
30s
27 Feb 2017
KFC redeem another miserable outing in this 30" commercial. This time, George surprises Daisy with a trip to a music festival… just a shame it’s taking place during monsoon season. Anyone who’s ever regretted buying camping tickets on a whim will sympathise. Luckily, their soggy getaway is salvaged by the fast food chain’s new Dirty Louisiana burger.

McDonald's McCafé
"Madness"
60s
20 Feb 2017
When did a cup of joe become so complicated? The sheer variety of sizes, roasts, and finishes available is enough to leave anyone's head spinning. So this entertaining McDonald's McCafé ad offers salvation for all those who - in the face of overwhelming choice - have ever uttered the phrase: "I just want a coffee".

McDonald's
"Steve"
60s
9 Feb 2017
This quirky spot for McDonalds has Steve - an employee at the fast food chain - trying to persuade Will (sitting next to him on the bus) that beef, the whole beef, and nothing but the beef goes into their burgers. When Will doesn't believe him, both they and the other passengers are transported to the processing plant which proves Steve's assertion. Stylishly done.

KFC
"Teambuilding"
30s
2 Feb 2017
This KFC ad will bring back unpleasant memories for some as we follow Kate and her colleagues enduring a company retreat. “Smells like team spirit”, the Southern-fried VO claims. Looks more like hypothermia. Of course, it isn’t rafting in sub-zero waters that brings them together - it’s the fast food chain’s new Double Bucket meal.

McDonald's
"Leaf Blower"
20s
10 Jan 2017
McDonald's appeal to customers who like to get their money's worth with this funny ad for their saver menu. A wife finally gets some peace and quiet to dry her hair... only to find her husband turning the leaf blower on her now he's finished with the garden. Like the rest of the ads in this campaign, this is short, punchy, and gets a chuckle in an effective 20".

McDonald's
"Lift"
60s
1 Jan 2017
McDonald's show how a broken lift becomes a sweet bonding experience for two women. Trapped alone together and awaiting rescue, the women share water, shoes, a scarf, secrets, stories, and a pair of headphones, but not even their new found friendship compels them to share the McDonald's Chicken Selects which is handed to them by their rescuers.

KFC
"Brexit Nativty"
60s
5 Dec 2016
This commercial for KFC certainly has the 'huh?' factor. So much so that - on first viewing - it prompted a lot of puzzled faces and a certain amount of head shaking. But the idea of a traditional head teacher being thrown by one of her teacher's politicisation of the annual Nativity play has grown on us. It's an ad of our time.

KFC
"Unrequited Love"
40s
5 Dec 2016
The Colonel narrates an unexpected love triangle in this ad for KFC. A pair of geriatric lotharios who caused a stir in their retirement home fighting over a 'fine young filly' are reconciled by their mutual fondness for KFC. And a good thing too, because their fair lady was busy "mutton-busting" another chap while they slugged it out, the floozy.

KFC
"Difficult Daughter"
30s
28 Nov 2016
The Colonel brings feuding families together with KFC's first Christmas Burger launched in the UK (featuring no turkey, weirdly). Kids may throw tantrums and teens may bring their obnoxious boyfriend along for the ride, but peace and serenity can be restored for the price of a burger - it's a Christmas miracle.

McDonald's
"Juliette"
90s
21 Nov 2016
McDonald's give hope to toys nationwide with their Christmas film. We're introduced to Juliette - a vintage doll who's never experienced playtime and has learnt to endure her loneliness with silent fortitude. Each day from her toy shop window she wistfully watches people meet up to share food and laughter in the McDonald's across the street... and she resolves to act.

Subway
"Festive Feast"
50s
17 Nov 2016
it's the morning after the office Christmas party, and you have The Fear - what was photocopied? Who was snogged? Will those pics of you and Ken... Len... Ben?... get sent to your entire friends list? Happily, Subway has the answer - a nice chunk of protein to kill the hangover and help brace you for the inevitable walk of shame back to your desk.

McDonald's McCafé
"Robots"
20s
6 Nov 2016
This latest McCafé spot appears in the 'Humans' ad break and features three Liverpudlian lasses discussing the possibility of the world being taken over by robots. This actually makes you want to hear more... this campaign should have some longer edits online and really cash in on the reality vibe.

McDonald's
"Chicken McNuggets"
40s
10 Nov 2016
McDonald's aim to set the record straight on Chicken McNuggets... again. The fast food restaurant has tackled what does and what doesn't go into their McNuggets once before, but they want to make sure everyone's got the message with this new execution. Forget beaks, bits, feet, innards, and feathers, says the VO - it's chicken breast through and through.

McDonald's
"Mexican Stack"
20s
9 Nov 2016
A woman misguidedly attempts to start a Mexican wave in this ad for the last of McDonald's globe-trotting limited edition burgers - the Mexican Stack, available for two weeks only. Someone ought to tell her about the British attitude to commuting... not likely to get any participation there; just a loud tut and the disapproving rustle of a newspaper at most.

McDonald's McCafé
"Romantic"
10s
1 Nov 2016
The grey van men are back in this latest McDonald's McCafé outing. This time, the lads are discussing that old chestnut - love. One of them insists he's the least romantic man in town - even describing his recent trip to Paris as more of an obligation than anything. After all, it was his honeymoon - "I had to go!" And they say romance is dead, eh?

McDonald's
"Swiss Stack"
20s
26 Oct 2016
McDonald's suggest your local multi-storey car park is an ideal substitute for the Swiss Alps. This motorist is surprised to see a blue-clad skier enjoying the exceptionally dry slope conditions. Shame about the lack of ski-lift, though. Those looking for a more low-key taste of Switzerland can try the chain's new Swiss Stack burger for two weeks only.

McDonald's McCafé
"Hunted"
20s
13 Oct 2016
Twins Hayley and Jenny consider how they'd respond if they were forced to go on the run like the 'Hunted' participants in this ad made specially to pop up first in the ad break during C4's reality wheeze. They quickly come to the conclusion that Jenny wouldn't last long as she'd be too hungry - it's hard to grab a McCoffee when you're a fugitive.

McDonald's
"Speaker"
30s
13 Oct 2016
McDonald's presents another good-natured example of life when the body is willing, but the mind is asleep. This chap suffers a communication breakdown while trying to order a drive-thru breakfast - ordering through the speaker rather than a bin would be a good start. Director David Kerr coaxes some lovely, groggy frustration from the lead actor before his mistake dawns on him.

McDonald's
"South African Stack"
20s
12 Oct 2016
A bloke wearing an elephant mask bumbles his way to his car keys while his partner appears non-plussed on the sofa. Takes all sorts, we suppose. The visual gag promotes the latest globe-trotting menu from the fast food chain and first up is the South African Stack burger. Meanwhile, how's this guy going to explain himself to the traffic police?

McDonald's McCafé
"Sophie & Tom"
20s
8 Sep 2016
In a special Olympics version of McDonald's McCafé ads, Tom Daley talks to best friend Sophie Lee about getting into the zone. He describes the visualisation technique which has generally served him well during an amazing career. Unfortunately, in Rio, he visualised himself belly flopping into the water like a drunk football fan.

KFC
"Meet the Zingers"
20s
5 Sep 2016
This KFC ad suggests anyone looking for attention from an attractive shop assistant should order a Zinger sandwich post-haste. After getting more bite than he bargained for, this bloke stops outside a pet shop while wiping away the tears. Mistaking him for an especially emotional animal lover, a pet shop employee gives him a hug to go along with his meal box.
