Fruit Shoot
"It's My Thing"
30s
9 March 2017
UK Fruit Juice

Robinsons Fruit Shoot claim it doesn’t matter what your ‘thing’ is - all that matters is you give it your all. Oh, and consume the advertised beverage while you’re at it. Whether it’s practising martial arts or donning homemade armour on a tyre swing (as you do), these children follow their respective passions in a suitably lively sequence.

Lyle's Golden Syrup
"Golden Trail"
20s
1 Nov 2016
Lyle’s Golden Syrup returns to our screens after a twenty-five-year absence with this 20” ad. The kitchen cupboard staple reminds us why it’s worth persevering with its runny nature. It’s a warm blend of tradition and modern trappings as a woman follows a gingerbread man recipe before wiping off a dollop of syrup from her tablet. The brand cheerfully admits its products can go anywhere, but customers can always rely on them.

Domino's Pizza
"Masterpizzas"
30s
29 Sep 2016
This slice of artistic silliness from Domino's sees various classic works of art express their enthusiasm at the pizza chain's new Italiano selection. Voiced by comedians Catherine Tate and Kayvan Novak, Vermeer's 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' becomes an "Insta" fanatic, while Munch's 'The Scream' really has something to shout about. Hungry history of art students will find much to like here.

Adidas
"Diego Costa"
15s
23 Aug 2016
This 15" Adidas commercial should give Chelsea supporters on Instagram a reason to cheer... and fans of every other English Premier League team a reason to jeer. The Spaniard's divisive reputation is in focus as the striker disappears behind layers of brick, iron, and concrete only to burst forth with a smirk on his face. Cartoon flourishes tie in well with the brand's recent output announcing the new season.

Barclaycard
"A Nation of Shoppers"
60s
28 May 2016
Foolish Napoleon, damning the British as 'a nation of shopkeepers'. Because there are no shopkeepers without shoppers - and what defines us as a breed, says Barclaycard, is not our humble status as purveyors of products but as a people who know what they want and will pay to obtain it, whether it's an out-of-hours pickle or a designer dog coat. We rock.

Mini
"Rick Edwards"
30s
16 May 2016
Channel 4's foray into bespoke advertising continues with a new ad for the Mini Countryman featuring the station's regular presenter Rick Edwards. It seems life in the big city can be a bit too much at times for our man Edwards, and his favourite way to soothe the nerves is to swim along the local waterways. It's an interesting approach using the broadcaster's talent roster to convey the advertised vehicle's adventurous spirit.

Mini
"My Drive"
30s
25 Apr 2016
This Mini ad focuses on what drives us in both senses of the word. In the case of this particular gentleman, its the pursuit of perfection which gets him out of bed in the morning. Shown to be a studious craftsman, the implication is that someone with this attention to detail will desire a car with the same design philosophy - something the Clubman will satisfy.

Adidas
"Boss Old Trafford"
60s
30 Mar 2016
Adidas pledge to make the Theatre of Dreams a reality for a lucky group of young footballers with this trick-laden commercial. Chief's Yonatan Weisberg follows three potential stars as they show off their ball skills within the bowels of Old Trafford before heading down the steps towards the famous pitch. Considering Manchester United's current circumstances, Louis van Gaal may want to draft some of this lot in well before May 22nd.

Domino's Pizza
"Pepperoni & Sriracha"
10s
29 Mar 2016
More gobby gymnastics from Domino's in this 10" plug for their pepperoni and Sriracha sauce pizza. These two suffer a sensory overload with the aforementioned dish under their noses, and the power of speech proves no match for the power of pepperoni. The idea naturally isn't given as much to time make an impact as the main ad, but the brand have faith in the oddness factor.

Domino's Pizza
"Mouths"
30s
25 Mar 2016
Domino's aren't afraid to mouth off about the supposed tastiness of their pizzas as this zany commercial shows. In the presence of an order from the advertised pizza vendor, the mouths of these customers take on lives of their own. While their gobs do an eye-catching shuffle, the only way to articulate their pleasure is through incomprehensible gibberish.

Nectar
"Thank You"
40s
8 Mar 2016
A terrific ad for Nectar Points illustrates how the offers available from the loyalty scheme are tailored to our individual preferences. What's lovely about this is the way so much thought has gone into the casting and presentation of the quirky folk and their eccentricities - while some of the hobbies and obsessions are quite mainstream (golf, impersonating Elvis), the manner in which they're introduced is anything but.

Speedo
"Winning Elements"
1 min 35s
21 Jan 2016
Speedo make a few additions to the periodic table in this slick ad featuring some of the world's elite swimmers doing what they do best after hours. Under the banner of "Team Speedo", these determined athletes crackle with golden energy when they touch the water (plus, King Midas wouldn't mind giving those swimming caps a try). A punchy execution from the swimwear brand.

Wickes
"Changing Kitchens"
30s
13 Dec 2015
Wickes gently set out their stall as the retailer of choice for punters who want to design their own kitchen. By stating its recognition that the kitchen is the centre of family life, the retailer hopes to earn the right to supply them for us. Martin Clunes's measured VO helps to create a well judged conviviality which make it pretty persuasive.

Wickes
"The Fusspots"
30s
23 Oct 2015
Wickes sides with the "fusspots" according to this commercial voiced by Martin Clunes. They celebrate those who take their time to make the right decision... presumably because these perfectionists are willing to pay top dollar for the right tools and the right materials... plus - if they're not happy with the outcome - they're prepared to start over with new tools and new materials!

Domino's Pizza
"Only Domino's Will Do"
30s
18 Oct 2015
There are times when only Domino's will do (as it did this weekend in the DAVID household). And this very funny spot for the pizza delivery service elucidates the point with brilliant silliness. Looking at fast food suggestions through the three decades that the brand has been around, it suggests that nothing can compare with the pleasure of sinking your teeth into cheese-sodden dough triangles that have been brought to your door.

Barclaycard
"Jumping for Joy"
30s
15 Oct 2015
A woman who didn't think she'd get a Barclaycard Initial credit card is jumping for joy on her sofa. She was worried her credit rating wouldn't allow her to get further into debt, but these fears weren't realised after all... hence the jumping. There doesn't seem to be that much joy involved, however, and things go off at a strange tangent when Pedro the parrot joins in.

Maplin
"Battery Power"
10s
21 May 2015
Another ten-second spot for Maplin has one man's chances of internet stardom scuppered when his phone battery dies just as he's about to take a snap of his dog balancing on an erstwhile tightrope. Other hopefuls should take note and stock up on power supplies, because who wants to be caught without a camera when the mothership lands?

Maplin
"Surveillance"
10s
20 May 2015
Let's face it - who doesn't want to see what their cat gets up to while they're out? And for those of us desperate to know how many hours Chairman Miaow spends staring through a radiator or what motivates Pusshkin to vomit on the same bit of carpet every day, Maplin has a gizmo for it. We're sold. See you in the queue at your local store.

Wickes
"The Bodger"
30s
2 May 2015
Forget badgers and other supposedly pesky British wildlife, it's bodgers that need shooting. The bodger makes a mess of all the DIY jobs he undertakes and his mishaps need to be resolved as soon as possible - which is where Wickes steps in. We like the touch at the end with the birdhouse in this spot... although the new garden is weirdly scary.

Wickes
"Spring Migration"
30s
26 Mar 2015
There isn't that much to choose between this and the previous work for Wickes. Tim Spall has been replaced by Martin Clunes - who is so determined to offer a gentler performance than his ebullient predecessor that he sounds like he's trying to read the VO without attracting the attention of terrorists carrying out an attack elsewhere in the same building.

Adidas
"Messi"
50s
25 Mar 2015
Even Lionel Messi has his critics. Hasn't won much at international level, has tax issues, iffy form with penalties... still, it takes a brave soul to argue against his greatness. While the VO talks down the Argentine's chances of ever reaching the heights of excellence, Messi stands defiant as the camera pans out; revealing his countless honours and vanquished opponents.

Adidas
"There Will Be Haters"
65s
21 Jan 2015
Even his fiercest detractors have to admit that Luis Suárez is one hell of a footballer. The bitey Uruguayan's seesawing contrition has done little to rehabilitate his image, but ultimately the fans at Barcelona don't care whether he's sorry for trying to sample Giorgio Chiellini's flesh during last year's World Cup - they only care whether he's putting the ball into the net on a regular basis.

Philips
"Changing Light Bulbs"
85s
22 Sep 2014
A cleverly styled piece for Philips which is set in a single room from the advent of the electric light bulb up to the present day. A continual changing of interior design takes place, and throughout it all the light remains a constant until we reach now, when it takes on a softer, more intuitive glow. Apparently this is down to a change in technology - so a little more info on 'Hue' would have made this intriguing spot even more impressive.

Adidas
"The New Speed of Light"
70s
1 Aug 2013
An arresting online ad that uses renowned footballer Lionel Messi to portray how the body's latent energy is released by the brand's new range. Dressed in a suit of motion-tracking lights he shows off his his ball control like a one-man firework display as a thumping soundtrack plays. Stylish and dynamic, it doesn't put a foot wrong.

Mini
"Dashing Home"
30s
2 Apr 2013
This cute commercial for Mini manages to make the vehicle look perfect for cool, young urbanites. The unconventional fellow driving it either lives in his garage or parks his car in his living room - it's hard to say which. And from the look of things, he's such a cool dude that nobody in his neighbourhood expects him to pay for anything.
