Marks and Sparks bring back their dine in for a tenner deal in this brief spot. The offer of an indulgently tasty ready meal with free plonk is sure to provide a pick-me-up in the middle of a dreary January, and the food photography is - as ever - something to be admired.

Marks & Spencer
"Adventures in Wonderfood"
30s
6 Jan 2017
As supermarkets encourage a healthy start to 2017, Marks & Spencer showcase their “wonderfoods” selection. Colourful wraps, mosaics made of fruit and veg, and seafood with a splash are just some of the ways customers can enjoy a wholesome January. M&S being M&S, they make it look like an appealing proposition... obviously.

Actimel
"Roadworker"
30s
1 Jan 2017
Oh dear... this has all the energy of a bad hangover. The roadworker supposedly feeling better because of his intake of the advertised gloop looks as though someone may be crushing some Prozac into his daily dose. He gamely tries to provide the required vim but you get the feeling his heart wasn't in it... and - from the looks of things - neither was anyone else's.

Thomson Holidays
"Moments"
60s
16 Dec 2016
This impressively-shot ad for Thomson Holidays captures the feeling of never wanting your holiday to end. A little girl has all the time in the world as she wanders through a beach resort in dream-like stasis. From exotic birds taking flight to a towel mid-flutter, she explores the little moments we might otherwise miss

Marks & Spencer
"Feasting"

We're having to dig deep when another M&S's food ad hits our screens. Not that the work's bad, of course - it's still excellent. No, we're just trying to avoid repeating ourselves as this long-running campaign enters its final stretch. This latest instalment teases us with enough rich and savoury dishes to satisfy our appetites well into the New Year.

Marks & Spencer
"Party Party Party"
20s
29 Nov 2016
Marks & Spencer think they have the party season taped with their edible treats and nibbles. Another pyrotechnic display of food photography gives star billing to jelly Santa hats, seafood bites, and chocolates containing yet more sweeties. M&S's stellar food work has always been a consistent performer and it's contributed to another strong festive campaign.

Marks & Spencer
"Season to Be Naughty"
20s
20 Nov 2016
'Tis the season to be naughty as RKCR/Y&R pretty much define 'food porn' for M&S, complete with money shot. Will Clean Bandit ever break the association between their music and sumptuous puddings, sinful pastries, and seductive cakes once this campaign comes to an end? Probably not, but when the food looks this good we can't imagine why they'd want to.

Marks & Spencer
"Giving (or Keeping)"
20s
16 Nov 2016
More food, glorious food from Marks & Spencer as the retailer showcases their Christmas sweets. We've waxed lyrical about RKCR/Y&R's food work on numerous occasions, which just shows how consistently impressive this campaign has been. As the agency prepares to hand over the reins, this 20" ad presents chocolate star trees and gold-covered confectionary with signature panache.

Marks & Spencer
"Mrs Claus"
3 mins
11 Nov 2016
Janet McTeer plays Santa's wife in Marks & Spencer's epic Christmas ad. As her husband sets off on his annual gift-giving pilgrimage, she notices that one of the last batch of letters is addressed to her. It's a plea for help from a six year old boy in England who wants her to help him show his big sister that he loves her... despite all the mischief he's caused.

Chanel No. 5
"Lily-Rose Depp"
60s
6 Nov 2016
One shouldn't be too surprised at Lily-Rose Depp following in her parents' footsteps. The progeny of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis shows she's inherited mum and dad's photogenic qualities in this Chanel No. 5 L'Eau commercial. It's a visually striking mesh of contradictions... presumably Depp wants film directors to know she has acting range.

BBC Sport
"No Guts No Glory"
30s
31 Oct 2016
This steely trail for the BBC's FA Cup coverage encapsulates the toil of the competition's early rounds. Black-and-white imagery captures the joy and the heartbreak experienced by lower-league teams at this stage. To be in with a shot of becoming third-round giant killers, the likes of Eastleigh and Swindon still have a couple more hurdles to complete.

Holland & Barrett
"Conkers"
10s
23 Oct 2016
Another short and sweet ad from Holland and Barrett promoting their seemingly endless penny sale. A squirrel looks chuffed with his conker yo-yo, but his bushy-tailed friend looks a better bet with his humungous penny on a string. The health and safety brigade will be glad to see such judicious use of goggles in the animal kingdom.

Chanel
"Lightbulb"
10s
21 Oct 2016
Another ad from Chanel featuring the striking inherited cheekbones of Lily-Rose Depp. This time we have some interesting inverted black and white colouring going on for visual variety, but there's not an awful lot to be done with a woman swinging a light bulb about and giving sultry stares to the camera. She wants to be careful or she'll put somebody's eye out.

Chanel
"L'Eau"
10s
21 Oct 2016
This ad for Chanel marks the first outing of Lily-Rose Depp for L'Eau - their new Number Five perfume variety. 'You know me and you don't,' the brand informs us in huge letters imposed over Depp turning to look coquettishly over her shoulder in a run-down room. It's all a bit cryptic but we think she's exploiting her heritage in more ways than one.

Marks & Spencer
"Adventures in Harvest"
30s
5 Oct 2016
Marks & Spencer take an autumnal turn in their latest ad from outbound agency Rainey Kelly, the familiar burst of Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' assuring us that we're about to receive a treat for the eyes. The vibrant film doesn't disappoint, this time taking a look at some of their ideas for autumn as the nights start to draw in.

Bank Of Scotland
"Tablecloth"
10s
29 Sep 2016
Another confusing one from the Bank of Scotland as James Cosmo remains stuck in the snowy wilderness with his increasingly mad script and dramatic delivery. While his tablecloth skills are impressive, we hope someone sends mountain rescue after him soon. He's starting to look a little frostbitten out there.

Danone Oykos
"Competition Winner"
30s
7 Sep 2016
In this latest commercial, Danone Oykos purrs its thanks to everyone who entered their ad to appear with TOWIE's Mark Wright. Looking more honed and buff than ever, the Essex Adonis takes a moment out of his busy filming schedule and is transported back to the Greek island when he spots a tray of the advertised yogurt.

Marks & Spencer
"Adventures in the Exotic"
20s
8 Sep 2016
And so a farewell to all this... perhaps. Marks & Spencer's decision to shift their business from one end of Martin Sorrell's corridor to another will see Grey London creating the retailer's advertising after their lengthy relationship with Rainey Kelly is brought to an end. It's pretty much impossible to fault the work created by the outgoing agency for M&S's food offer.

Marks & Spencer
"Back to School"
30s
15 Aug 2016
The 'back to school' market must be considered very precious by each of the retailers who supply it as they seem to raise their game year after year. Marks & Spencer's effort is particularly exuberant and as we mentioned last week, offered Rainey Kelly and director Chris Sweeney the opportunity to connect it to their sumptuous food advertising.

Bank Of Scotland
"Referees"
10s
12 Jul 2016
Say what you want about the punditry standards at this year's European Championships, but let's be thankful Bank of Scotland's spirit guide wasn't allowed near the match analysis. James Cosmo's feathered wanderer offers a sport-tinged nugget for us to swallow, one which should in practice guide us towards the advertised bank's services. Alas, it makes us want to brandish a red card.

BBC Sport
"Rio"
90s
10 Jul 2016
The moth had barely finished drinking Ronaldo's tears at last night's Euro 2016 football final before the BBC unveiled the trail for their coverage of this summer's other big sporting event... the Olympics. There was a time when this event overshadowed all others but football's star has now risen so high in the sky that it cannot be eclipsed by anything.

Randolph Engineering
"Seen It All"
60s
5 Jul 2016
American sunglasses brand Randolph Engineering use a first-person perspective to enthralling effect in this well-composed commercial suggesting the only way to see the world at its most thrilling is through their lenses. Budding thrillseekers needn't move an inch off the sofa as the ad does all the legwork. From the moment the unseen protagonist dons their sunglasses, we're thrust into a chain of high-octane pursuits.

BBC
"Summer With The BBC"
50s
28 Jun 2016
While it may not be all smiles and sunshine in the BBC talent pool post-Clarkson and co., this ad for the Beeb's summer schedule does an appealing job of positioning the broadcaster as the home of entertainment through heatwaves and inevitable downpours. Lenny Henry narrates a montage of seasonal pursuits with the BBC's TV and radio stations complementing the mood.

Marks & Spencer
"The Patron's Lunch"
10s
6 Jun 2016
Sunday 12th June will see The Mall in St James's Park host The Patron's Lunch, a celebration of the Queen's unwavering support for charitable causes. For those who can't make it to the shindig proper, Marks & Spencer have a specially-picked range of picnic favourites to help get into the spirit of the occasion, with pork pies and trifles depicted with the store's customary razzle-dazzle.

Babybel
"Euro Cheeses"
20s
1 Jun 2016
The Euro 2016 tie-ins are coming in at an alarming rate now and Babybel are the latest to peddle their wares through the medium of football. One wax-covered chap is rather cheesed off that he won't be joining his pals at this summer's tournament (we almost expected him to speak in a Scottish accent), but he's reminded that the brand's online competition still gives him hope of a continental sojourn.
