Asda George
"Visiting Nan"
20s
1 April 2017
UK Fashion Labels

Asda fulfill another sprog's Easter fantasy; this time, an endless wardrobe. This little girl can't decide whether to wear a t-shirt, a jacket, or a dress to Nana's - luckily, she can change her clobber at the blink of an eye. How parents must wish it were that simple. Still, the ad shows the supermarket's George range packs enough variety to satisfy even the pickiest of dressers this Easter.

Asda
"Easter by Max Dixon"
30s
1 Apr 2017
Asda present another seasonal flight of fancy; this time courtesy of young Max Dixon. He wants the whole family involved... well, as long as he gets to sit next to the potatoes. Neat visual flourishes and a big band score suggest Green Supermarket can provide an upbeat Easter. We like the vintage goggles, too - now that's responsible cake smashing.

Asda
"Emily's Easter"
30s
28 Mar 2017
Emily imagines her perfect Easter, down to the prizes that she'll win in her hypothetical egg hunt. Although her wildest Easter-themed dreams correlate quite suspiciously with things available in Asda, the sharp editing keeps things interesting as trumpets turn into crumpets and then grow bunny ears in a few quick flashes. Nice use of the 'Bewitched' theme music too.

Domino's Pizza
"Winter Survival"
30s
7 Jan 2017
A family remain blissfully unconcerned about the very worst winter has to offer - snow, hail, their house pretty much falling down around them - because they have the Winter Survival deal from Domino's to sustain them. Things are pitched just right in this ad, with the tongue-in-cheek humour enhanced by the intentionally stilted, self-conscious delivery of the actors.

AXA PPP
"Gymnastics"
30s
25 Nov 2016
AXA PPP claim they're the insurer with a speedier approach in this gentle ad. This woman benefits from fast track appointments, ensuring she's fit to lift her little champion gymnast at the end. With everyone's time at a premium these days, AXA's offer of timely healthcare may well prompt further investigation.

Aldi
"Kevin the Carrot"
60s
7 Nov 2016
There's a fine art to creating a cute, anthropomorphic mascot. Likely inspired by the BBC's Sprout Boy, Aldi introduce their own vegetable hero: Kevin the Carrot. Kevin is determined to meet Santa Claus, but it requires a treacherous journey across the dinner table. Thanks to a sweet script and some charming visual touches, the supermarket have a new Christmas star.

Leo Vegas
"Milk Bottle Orchestra"
30s
1 Nov 2016
The natural musical talents of the lion-headed man introduced in the previous ad are showcased in this delightfully odd piece of work for Leo Vegas mobile casino. The message is to 'find play in the everyday', whether that's indulging in some inadvisable online gambling or... this. We know that cats like milk, but this is a whole new level of dairy appreciation.

Leo Vegas
"Carcass"
40s
21 Aug 2016
The online gambling market is huge and getting huger, so it's not surprising to see campaigns in this sector becoming ever more outlandish in a bid to make an impression. None more so than Leo Vegas and their extraordinary new commercial featuring a lion getting it on with an indeterminate carcass that looks as though it's been professionally prepared by a butcher.

Subway
"Casanova"
30s
6 Jul 2016
It's a touch off-putting not hearing Peter Serafinowicz's dulcet tones in this Subway ad, but the campaign's core idea soon prevails. The latest internal dilemma belongs to this thrifty chap watching his date peruse the menu. Both he and his wallet breathe a sigh of relief however when she spies the turkey and ham option from the restaurant's £3 meal selection. Lovely eye-acting on display here.

Nando's
"Napkin"
50s
28 Jun 2016
Another execution from the new campaign for Nando's which cleverly aims to bring a slightly more ambitious diner into their outlets. This time a young couple use napkins to make themselves look more posh which is a great way of using comedy to draw attention to the chain's slightly more upmarket offerings.

Nando's
"Fino Platter"
40s
28 Jun 2016
Earlier this year there was much hilarity on social media as Americans tried and failed to understand the concept of "a cheeky Nando's". The owners of the chicken restaurants must have enjoyed it... not least because you can't buy that kind of publicity. Neither can you buy a place in popular culture and Nando's enjoys this as well. It's the "turn to" reference of comedians like Jack Whitehall when they want to invoke a certain kind of dining experience.

BBC Three
"Let's Go There"
30s
23 Jun 2016
This striking promo for BBC Three shows the channel isn't afraid to "go there" now that the dust has settled on its switch from television to online. If you want to see the comment section surge into life, then discussing topics such as dangerous dogs, transhumanism, and the death penalty is a surefire bet. Each scenario is depicted with an agitated spirit as opinions from both sides of the argument flood the screen.

Post Office
"Magic Money"
83s
8 Jun 2016
As punters up and down the country look to get their holiday moolah organised, the Post Office have drafted in some money experts with a little extra razzmatazz. In an entertaining online ad, customers of the London Bridge branch are treated to some monetary sleight of hand by a band of magicians posing as Post Office employees. Looks like the bureau de change next door are going to have to up their game.

Subway
"Favourites"
50s
8 Jun 2016
Our rumbling stomachs may take issue, but we reach the point when our tried and tested picks from the menu just won't suffice. The time has come for something new at lunchtime, and it's the dilemma facing this intrepid office worker in a terrific Subway ad. The protagonist wants a change from Meatball Marinara, but he isn't the captain of his hungry soul yet. Enter Peter Serafinowicz's omniscient VO.

ClearScore
"Pineapple"
30s
10 May 2016
"Why pineapple!?" indeed. While Dad is drawn to ClearScore's offer of a free credit report, his curious offspring is busy wrapping his impressively-spiky head around the enigma that is pineapples. Jack may have a credit score of 420 out of 700, but his use of the family guinea pig as an example scores a big fat zero with his son. Another odd outing which nonetheless stirs one's interest.

ClearScore
"Sofa"
30s
10 May 2016
This quirky ad for ClearScore certainly draws you in with its idiosyncratic exchanges. When an ad for the credit rating website appears on this couple's telly (very meta), Charlie types away to gauge his current situation. Soon enough, Moose the dog wants to know what his beloved master's up to on the silver thing. Bizarre and somewhat hypnotic, it's not what you'd expect from an ad in this sector.

Batchelors Cup a Soup
"Incredibly Tasty, Phenomenally Thick"
30s
1 Mar 2016
Happily reconciled to the fact that his dimness is his USP, reality TV's favourite hunk plays a blinder in this smartly-directed ad for Bachelors Cup a Soup. The instant packet mixes are described as "incredibly tasty, phenomenally thick" - which, as his fans will agree, is Joey to a tee.

eToro
"Barbershop"
40s
3 Feb 2016
A barbershop becomes a bull market in this eye-catching commercial for social trading platform eToro. Idle chatter doesn't interest this horned barber, but talk of stock market movers and shakers does. By asking others whether to buy or sell natural gas shares, the stylist ensures the man in the chair becomes the man in the know. A fun depiction of amateur trading with a nice anti-bantz line.

Milk Tray
"Boot Camp"
3 mins 40s
12 Nov 2015
Having invited the nation to take on the mantle of Milk Tray Man, the present incumbent has a starry batch of candidates to consider. The likes of Robbie Savage, Denise Lewis, Joey Essex, Thom Evans, and Barry from 'Eastenders' (sorry - Shaun Williamson) all think they have what it takes to become the suavest customer in confectionery.

McDonald's
"The Robinsons"
30s
21 May 2015
McDonald's has introduced The Robinsons - a family determined to get the most out of life and put a positive spin on every situation. For them, a late flight home from holiday isn't a pain. It means more time basking in the last of the sun's rays; clear roads back from the airport; a good excuse for a comfortingly familiar burger and fries from the fast food chain that's up as late (or early) as they are.

Save The Children
"Den Day"
1 min 40s
7 May 2015
Great performances start with great casting and director Karen Cunningham made sure she had her little ducklings all lined up before shooting this lovely film for Save the Children in a single day. Precociousness is a very delicate tool and it can really backfire if the right performance isn't coaxed from a young actor. Here, the performances are judged to perfection and the lead offers a perfectly-weighted spoof of Kevin McCloud waxing lyrical.

Channel 4
"Election Coverage"
60s
24 Apr 2015
Channel 4 have always accepted that punters are unlikely to turn to them if they want straightforward coverage of a national event and so have consequently tended to offer something a bit more alternative. This trail certainly makes it look as though theirs will be the most entertaining option on May 7. But it's not without gravitas, as they have Jeremy Paxman on their team.

McCain
"Real Teatimes"
60s
6 Apr 2015
There's no attempt here to dress up the humble chip as anything more than it really is... this concentrates instead on capturing the reality of modern family life and does so quite beautifully. The chip is at the centre of each of the teatime meals we see being cooked and eaten; and many, many viewers will recognise themselves in one or more of these vignettes.

Cancer Research
"Lump"
60s
6 Mar 2015
An astonishingly simple, yet immensely clever ad for Cancer Research pinpoints exactly how human nature tends to react to gradual change... by ignoring what's happening. The pavement on a busy high street begins to grow an unsightly bump, which slowly gets bigger as the days pass. Hidden cameras observe the way people skirt round it with a fleeting glance - if it's not yet causing a problem, they don't have to deal with it.

Sainsbury's
"Norfolk Turkey"
20s
27 Nov 2014
Another in the stylish campaign that's been shot from overhead. Sainsbury's certainly knows how to make their food look mouth-wateringly delicious - once again, we're treated to unhurried images, gorgeous golden lighting and elegant decorations to frame the platters, which combine to suggest they set a high standard for themselves and that we reap the benefits.
