Footballer Casey Stoney movingly discusses the sexism she's faced throughout her career in this inspiring spot for the FA. It's heartening to hear that women's football is gaining recognition and respect and that the FA have made a commitment to double the number of female players by 2020. But with an insane disparity in wages - a top female player earns less in a year than a top male player earns in a day - there's still along way to go.

As Gareth Southgate becomes the latest man tasked with bringing glory to English football, the FA signal a belief that bringing more players into the game is just as important as anything achieved by the national team. This 30" profile of England midfielder James Blackwell shines a light on the body’s support of cerebral palsy football. It's a support which has allowed Blackwell to be defined by his talent, rather than his disability.

There's something curiously retro about this film reminding parents of the importance of behaving in a civil fashion to their children when they take part in games of football. Ray Winstone is the voice of reason as a father tears a strip off his unfortunate son.

This excellent Nike spoof has so many cul-de-sacs as it journeys through a first person look at an amateur footballer's life that you start to wonder what its message will be. And just when you become convinced that it's a warning about excess, it surprises you.

Ray Winstone plays both main roles in this film funded by the FA designed to encourage better behaviour at children's football matches. The device is used to good effect as angry Ray is forced by calm Ray to take a long hard look at himself.

Various football and TV stars lend their support to a campaign designed to ensure referees are offered a greater degree of respect when they take charge of football matches at all levels. It's amusing enough and the point if well made but not all of the performances are top notch.
