Oo-er! Watch yourself, missus. Apparently, World Naked Gardening Day is charging towards us, so if you don't want to get an unexpected eyeful stand well back and focus your attention on the special offers at Aldi instead. Not sure that a telescopic lopper is the most appropriate item to choose, though.

Aldi
"Easter Meats"

12 Apr 2017
Aldi's Easter basket makes only the briefest appearance in this product-focused ad, spitting out a few eggs at a family's dining table. The supermarket then advertise the meats which are available to star in an Easter roast - from traditional lamb to turkey. It's not as playful as the other ads in this campaign, but ut manages to show off their wares.

Aldi's Easter basket returns, this time to prove that you don't have to take a break from your high-powered city job to enjoy a hot cross bun. The supermarket's luxury range emerge from the basket, fly out freshly toasted and buttered, and even get delivered by balloons. Another fun instalment in this whimsical campaign - we wouldn't mind one of these baskets appearing at DAVID HQ.

After showering punters with chocolate eggs last time out, Aldi expand their Easter menu. The supermarket's bottomless wicker basket provides an impressive spread for this outdoor get-together. As well as seasonal staples like hot cross buns and a lamb roast, the hamper proffers items we may not have considered beforehand - such as organic red wine.

"Endless Basket"

We're always told not to put all our eggs in one basket. Well, no-one told Aldi. The supermarket harness some advanced wicker basket technology for their Easter ad, producing an endless stream of chocolate eggs for these park-goers. A neat way of showing the brand caters for multiple tastes and budgets this Easter.

Aldi
"Mothering Sunday"

24 Mar 2017
According to this ad for Aldi, the average mum only gets seventeen minutes to herself each day. So, one way of demonstrating your appreciation on Mother's Day is to give her a couple of hours of peace and quiet... as well as a hand-finished card, a glass of wine, and a slice or two of roast beef.

Aldi
"Teddy Bear"

15 Mar 2017
A teddy bear has come to life and decided to use his newfound voice to compares cheaper Aldi nappies and wipes to a more expensive brand. Deciding that either brand will do the job, the bear places particularly strong emphasis on his passion for extra sensitive wipes after going through the pain of having batteries... inserted.

Aldi
"MiniRoos"
60s
9 Mar 2017
Aldi let us know they're proud to partner with MiniRoos - Australia's biggest football programme for kids - in this inspirational ad. The beat-heavy soundtrack and crisp visual editing come together to capture the energy and tenacity of the kids, who are determined to play against all the odds. No goal, no pitch, no team? No problem.

Aldi

This ad for Aldi's Super Six healthy eating promotion has double Olympic medallist Jack Laugher doused liberally with water as a lusty voiceover gets distracted by his washboard abs. She managed to recover herself long enough to tell us about the fruit and veg on offer, but another glimpse of Laugher soon sets her off again.

Aldi
"Bubbles"

24 Feb 2017
This ad comparing Aldi's Magnum range of dishwasher products with more familiar brands features two lovely performances from some bubble-clad tykes following a washing machine mishap. It's nice to see Aldi return to their tried and tested comparison format, allowing the price of the products to speak for themselves - whether they end up being used correctly or not.

Aldi
"Nicola Adams"
20s
16 Feb 2017
Boxer Nicola Adams stars in this brief ad for Aldi's 'Super Six' deal, during which the supermarket slashes the price of six items of fruit or veg for a week. There's a nice bit of food photography and some slow-motion shots of the Olympic champion standing in front of a British flag made of fruit - making her the seventh 'winner' of the week.

Dave won Valentine's Day by going to Aldi to purchase his premium pink plonk, hand-finished card, and the ingredients for his candle-lit meal. He's truly 'on fire'... no, really, the straight-laced young man is transformed into a shirtless, glistening fireman. Woo hoo! Lovely bit of tongue-in-cheek humour.

Aldi
"Steep"

23 Jan 2017
Pun-masters Aldi move away from animals to focus on the comedic potential of road signs in this straightforward ad. Their basket of shopping is cheap, the cheery voiceover informs us, unlike the road sign which is... steep. Not only a pun, but a rhyme! The wonders never cease.

Aldi
"Duck"
30s
18 Jan 2017
Aldi’s animal farm continues to grow. The supermarket tells us shoppers don’t like “big bills” in January… which doesn’t do Duncan the duck any favours. While he waddles off chastened, we’re shown how small Aldi’s grocery bill is. Decent performance from Duncan - we like to think he would’ve accepted that loaf of bread as payment.

Aldi
"Deer"

Puns are the order of the day for these shorts for Aldi. There's an unashamed quip involving the phrase 'too dear' in this execution, which makes us groan out loud at the end even though we've braced ourselves for the punchline from the off. But secretly we have a soft spot for the occasional dad-style one-liner, and this one gets away with its own naffness.

Aldi's first outing since Christmas follows the well-trodden path of supermarkets plying us with calorie-laden treats in the spirit of the season and then driving us to dietary self-flagellation in the cold light of January - just like this chap's other half and her smoothie maker. We haven't heard from Kevin the Carrot for a while, let's hope he didn't end up in the blender...

Aldi
"Kevin's Last Hurrah"
30s
15 Dec 2016
Aldi give Kevin the Carrot a fitting send-off in this 30” commercial. The supermarket’s showpiece ad left Kevin dangling on a reindeer’s antler; now he’s landed himself in trouble. After close encounters with the fireplace and the family dog, the intrepid vegetable makes a chilly new friend in time for Christmas.

Aldi
"Nosy"
20s
13 Dec 2016
Kevin the Carrot wishes he could get a whiff of Aldi's selection of cheeses and appetizers. Sure enough, we're shown brie with truffle, pork belly squares, and mini pulled pork burgers - ideal picks for a Christmas party spread. So how does Kevin solve his olfactory dilemma? By nicking a snowman's carroty nose, of course. No wonder it looks so glum.

"Kevin Casting"

Kevin the Carrot might have been Peter the Parsnip in another life - or at least if the audition had gone differently. Here's a peek behind the scenes with the also-rans - complete with woeful impersonations, Gallic flirting, and a rooty thespian. No matter that they will have to be dressed as a Christmas fairy and stuck on a tree - everyone has to start somewhere after all.

Aldi
"Night Before Christmas"

30 Nov 2016
A special guest shows up to Kevin's Christmas feast - now replete with fancy desserts of all varieties - as he finally takes a festive disco nap ready for the excitement ahead. Santa's hand comes into frame ominously at the end - let's hope he's going for the mince pie and isn't planning on taking a treat for the reindeer.

Aldi
"Nose"

28 Nov 2016
Kevin the Carrot smartens up for this ad featuring Aldi's wine range. As we hear about his neatly parted leaves specially combed in anticipation of the Christmas party, we're treated to some fine slo-mo shots of vino glugging into glasses and temptingly chilled bottles sweating. Their reasonably priced posh plonks have fancy names and noses - unlike poor Kev.

Aldi
"Crash Land"
20s
24 Nov 2016
Kevin the Carrot finds himself catapulted skyward on a cava cork in another sweet offering from Aldi's festive campaign. While Jim Broadbent waxes lyrical about the supermarket's drinks selection, Carrot crash-lands through a Christmas card. Getting to hear the little guy's voice is always a treat, and his resigned 'oh dear' is spot on.

Aldi
"Snow Angel"
20s
28 Nov 2016
Kevin the Carrot wanders through "a wonderland of traditional cakes" in Aldi's latest festive instalment. While John Williams's 'Home Alone' theme twinkles in the background, we're shown European treats such as stollen, mulled wine, and panettone. Meanwhile, the supermarket's animated vegetable shows he's full of the Christmas spirit by making a sugar angel.

Aldi
"Kevin and John Lewis"
25s
23 Nov 2016
This season's Christmas advertising has been very meta so far, hasn't it? The John Lewis ad has spawned a host of ad memes for instance, and Aldi are the latest to play along. In this spot, Kevin the Carrot appears to be excited by the thought of being part of the biggest meal of the year - but in fact it's the posh department store that's making him giddy. Steady, son.

Aldi
"Fancy Carrot"
20s
22 Nov 2016
Aldi turn to appetisers as they continue promoting their Christmas fare. Jim Broadbent’s VO gets lyrical about duck spring rolls, croquembouche, and gyozas. Meanwhile, Kevin the Carrot assumes the role of Christmas angel on top of the tree… though he’s politely reminded this isn’t a fancy dress party. Break a carrot’s heart, why don’t you?
