PARK VILLAGE SIGNS JAKE JELICICH

Park Village have signed director Jake Jelicich to their content and music roster. Primarily known for his promo work, Jelicich has a moody, melancholy style he's also brought to short film and commercial work.

Moody and melancholy style? Sounds like a cheerful chap. He's got his finger on the pulse of the latest trends, that's for sure. His promo work has a dreamy quality and the kind of stylistic touch that makes it feel one step removed from reality.

Check out this promo for Blossoms' 'Charlemagne' to get the picture.

Starting a promo with a quote about purgatory, I see what you mean. That was interesting, what else has he done? He's particularly known for his work with Aussie musician Jarryd James, he won both a silver and gold for their work together in the Australian Cinematographer's Society QLD Awards.

This promo for 'Do You Remember' has some hypnotic cinematography characteristic of Jelicich's work, with a striking mix of in-camera and post effects.

Blimey, Park Village must be excited to have that kind of talent on their roster. It's safe to say they're looking forward to cracking on with some work together in 2017. Especially if his latest project about deadly nightshade is anything to go by.

Jake Jelicich's reel is available at Park Village. For more information on him or anyone else on the roster, contact Joe Walker on 0207 387 8077 or via email at joe@parkvillage.co.uk.
