Fortunately, normality is restored thanks to the brand’s new tray bake mix. No sign of Dominic West, but this still provides ample entertainment.

This poignant film for environmentally-friendly cleaning brand ecostore uses art to explore two very different versions of the future. Parents and children are interviewed about their vision of the world to come, as an artist creates two large canvases based on their musings. It's a thought-provoking piece, and demonstrates that although things may feel grim, it's important to keep working towards a brighter tomorrow.

Sans instruments, these disembodied mouths cover Blondie’s ‘One Way or Another’. The broadcaster hope the series attracts the ‘Pitch Perfect’ crowd.

Heidi Klum stars in this frantic ad for her latest clothing range - designed for Lidl. Things are colourful and high-energy from the word go, as shoppers strut around the stylised shelves. We're bombarded with prices as the clothes - which don't look particularly flattering - are given closeups. At the end of it, we're pretty relieved to say Auf Widersehen, Heidi.

One would think Real Madrid’s training ground would be more secure than this. The Spanish giants obviously didn’t reckon on the Adidas Tango Squad. Named after the sportswear brand’s classic football, this daring crew of freestylers launch a midnight raid. While budding stars are advised against breaking and entering, the brand commend those with top-flight bravado.

CBBC's globetrotting fact-finders the Go Jetters go Mastermind in this animated ad. John Humphrys gets cute-ified in his animated form, interrogating a unicorn about the Matterhorn before the questioning tables are turned. It's a way to inspire adult affection for the kids' show, although we're not sure what an animated unicorn would choose for a specialist subject. Squatty Potty, perhaps?

Avid readers of DAVID - as we're sure you all are - will remember the fantastic film which encouraged viewers to guess which car would win Bwin's mad dash through the city streets. This version reveals the winner... and a twist ending to the whole shebang. We won't spoil it, but keep watching until the end...

Of course, not every child enjoys the same opportunities. Aided by some nostalgic production design, the charity hope more viewers consider a posthumous donation.

The Co-Op emphasise the diversity of their banking customers with this community-minded ad. The bank promises to put money to good use and 'campaign for what's right'... although they neatly sidestep giving any indication of what that might be. It's an inoffensive film which does the job, but seems unlikely to entice any new customers to the fold.

More supermarket chic from Tesco F & F - just in time for the autumn/winter rush. This woman adds coats and leopard-skin tops to her modest shopping list. Pastel-coloured aisles and infinite milk bottles create a heightened vibe, accompanied by the VO’s soul-tinged commentary. A clever means of tying the brand’s grocery and fashion wings together.

The Compton Cowboys are a perfect fit for Guinness's 'made of more' campaign and Henry-Alex Rubin has created a lovely film celebrating the unlikely juxtaposition of urban gangs and equestrianism. But we find ourselves obliged to point out that this bears an uncanny resemblance to a 2016 film examining a similar project in Philadelphia.

Starting with the Big Bang, the Swedish vodka cram trillions of years worth of history into 60”. Director Emmanuel Lubezki crafts a brisk jaunt from dinosaurs to Pong and beyond.

As the nights draw in, River Island step out with their autumn/winter collection. No dead leaves or the like here - just split-screen poses and sharp architecture. Meanwhile, M.I.A.’s jagged banger ‘Only 1 U’ provides the urgent score. Might be awkward bumping into someone wearing the same top, though.

The Co-op continue going round in circles in the best possible way. The supermarket pick up from where they left off with their May revamp. Yet more circular imagery appears throughout this 30” follow-up. 100% British meat remains a core proposition, and the brand suggest we do our bit by sampling their £6 meal deal.

Advertisers sure love Chris Hemsworth in a suit. The Australian and occasional God of Thunder ruminates on what separates good from great for Buchanan’s whisky. And the difference? It’s a gut feeling - aided by the blended spirit, of course. While the Thor actor flits between boardrooms and weddings, Framestore Pictures’s Ahn Vu inserts enough fantastical elements to draw the eye.

Rumour has it that those at the top of the creative tree at adam&eveDDB have been trying to identify an opportunity to incorporate Wham!'s Wham Rap! into a commercial for years. If this is true then they seem to have found the perfect moment to unleash it. This ad for H&M is given a huge dollop of energy by George Michael's perfect 1980s earworm, and you may find yourself forming a new appreciation for a song that once seemed quite inconsequential.

There are plenty of uses for Cadbury's chocolate fingers demonstrated in this lighthearted ad. From the classic chopstick (choc-stick?) walrus imitation to melty drumsticks, there are many ways to mess around before sticking them in your gob. The ubiquitous biscuit fingers don't get a lot of love for a British snack staple, so it's nice to see a new campaign pop up.

Argos have a new toy catalogue out, combining parental nostalgia for circling choices and hoping for the best with same-day delivery to occupy the kids quickly. We see various tykes getting their wishes delivered as if by magic, leaping through a portal created by the mere act of choosing. It's a way to keep the catalogue relevant, although most toddlers can find the 'go to checkout' button on their own these days.

Director Jamie Maule-Ffinch has dug deep into the viral archive, bringing back deep cuts including 'peanut butter jelly time', Chocolate Rain, and Salad Fingers.

Another pleasantly off the wall ad from Yopa sees a bloke explaining how easy it would be to sell his house with the site... if he didn't live in a can of beans. This surreal series is well constructed, the initial tight view giving the audience a hint of strangeness before panning out to reveal how odd the depicted scenario really is. Attention-grabbing work.

A&E provide a rebuke for those who want to accentuate difference in these troubled times by urging us instead to identify the things that bring us together. The imagery captured by Oscar Cariss provides a perfect illustration of this proposition as his vignettes are a veritable smorgasbord of diversity.

Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson resurrect their creative partnership in this monochrome ad for Givenchy. Much like their music promo for R.E.M.'s 'ÜBerlin', Aaron's dance skills are front and centre as he livens up a stuffy party as a new kind of 'gentleman'. The soundtrack and performances subvert perfume ad tropes and make the whole thing more fun than we might have expected.
