More brain frying work from MailChimp as the marketing specialists promote their e-customer service aids. Thanks to automated responses, the brand ensure repeat customers receive due acknowledgement. Handy for entrepreneurs like Jessica who design bespoke, er, cheese houses - yes, some people do have that lifestyle.

We meet the brains of the operation in this surreal MailChimp commercial. The e-marketers suggest their online tools are like having a second brain - ably demonstrated by their idiosyncratic spokesperson. Arch yet playful, Fliss Russell's other-worldy performance lends e-commerce a light touch.

MailChimp deliver another idiosyncratic commercial as a bloke is threatened by - you guessed it - a black hole. However, the advertised "MailChimp thing" allows him to reach more online customers and remain in this dimension. Viewers who were flummoxed by dogs made of kale now have a firmer grasp of the e-commerce brand's raison d'être.

MailChimp breaks into the music biz with an ambitious online promo from Veil Hymn. The ‘band’ actually comprises Blood Orange a.k.a. Devonte Hynes and Bryndon Cook, and their laidback jam is designed to ultimately redirect curious music fans to the email marketing company. Eagle-eyed viewers will also spot ‘MaleCrimp’ on a barber’s price list.

Who knew shrimp could hold a tune? They can if this entertaining MailChimp ad is anything to go by. A shrimp proves he’s more than just a sandwich filling by serenading a mailroom employee on his lunch break. “One day, I know I’ll become MailShrimp”, he croons. Thanks to one big chomp, the prawn achieves his bizarre goal.

Another zany scenario from MailChimp sees a girl take aim at a blimp piñata. While her party guests watch in awe, she swings away. It’s a direct hit… allowing dozens of tiny prisoners to make their dash for freedom. All those hours spent tweaking the brand name in unexpected ways has paid off. Plus, you can beat jelly wobbling in mid-air.

We can imagine vegans will be deeply conflicted by this bizarre ad for email marketing company MailChimp. Now we know where kale really comes from. These upmarket diners order something called “KaleLimp”. We’re then transported to a swimming pool with some rather unusual patrons: dogs made of kale. Well, we are always told to wash vegetables before consumption.
