"Pool Party"
30s
16 November 2016
UK Fruit Juice

J2O's inflatable pool party looks like it could turn into the world's squeakiest orgy if that horse and spaceman don't tone things down. This sunny ad is the perfect antidote to winter blues, featuring a crowd of DJ loving monkeys and an unfortunate end for a juice-loving dinosaur. Another reason you shouldn't open bottles with your teeth, folks.

"There's Joy in the Blend"
30s
16 Nov 2014
You have to hand it to J2O for inventiveness: combining breakdancing with old Irish folk dancing is not something you expect to see every day. But this blend of rollicking fiddles and eye-watering moves stands as a visual metaphor for the unexpected flavour combinations in a bottle of the drink in question; and if it's as unusual as the scene suggests it'll be one helluva beverage.

"Cats and Dogs"
40s
19 May 2012
The advertised drink promises distilled togetherness in this ad which shows some dogs turning up unexpectedly at a cat party. The tension in the room is palpable until the J2O starts flowing and the room fills with bonhomie. Now, all we need to do is persuade the Israelis and the Palestinians to sup some.

J2O
"Grin"
30s
16 Nov 2011
This rather charmless commercial for a fruit juice is fronted by an American man who comes across as the kind of chap who takes a great interest in musical theatre. This may be part of an effort to attract a distinctive demographic but it's hard to say.

J2O
"Glitterberry Raining Men"
30s
14 Nov 2011
Is this the first instance of a product being specifically aimed at gay men? A man stood beneath a glitterball in a room with camp furnishings skips off happily after delivering a tongue-twisting tribute to the advertised drink.

J2O
"Tongue Twisters - Blueberry Danger"
30s
3 May 2011
Another in this series of commercials using tongue twisters to draw attention to the fruitiness of the advertised drinks. In this one, the protagonist offers to "turn up the danger" and illustrates his case by reciting the tricky phrases using a variety of different voices.

"Tongue Twister - Passion Fruit & Orange"
30s
2 May 2011
Are they trying to hint that this stuff is the perfect mixer for vodka? A man starts to sound drunk as he repeats a tricky tongue twister over and over. It's a good illustration of the way that a simple execution can provide an attention-grabbing outcome.

J2O
"Tongue Twister - Blueberry & Apple"
30s
2 May 2011
A man manages to get his mouth around an elaborate tongue twister describing the advertised product in this cute ad for J2O. Not content with mastering it once, he attempts it again and again until the law of diminishing returns kicks in.

J2O
"Pub Quiz - Fairytales"
40s
27 Aug 2010
Another conflation of clues are put together to tantalize the watching audience in this ongoing quiz-based campaign. Fairy Tales provide the answers this time and the animation provides a greater connection to the clues than in the previous ads.

J2O
"Movies - Answers"
40s
25 Aug 2010
Another instalment of this campaign which uses an interactive quiz to gain attention. As before, the questions have been put together in a fashion which makes it impossible to use internet search engines to find out the answers. The answers are in this version.

J2O
"TV Shows - Answers"
40s
25 Aug 2010
J2O launch another of their weekly competitions requiring viewers to unravel three TV shows from cryptic clues. As usual the degree of difficulty is not inconsiderable and it makes it a much better campaign than it otherwise would be. And the answer's here too.

"Cracked It?"
40s
7 Aug 2010
The final instalment in J2O's new interactive campaign reveals the answers to any viewer who wasn't able to work them out but cared enough to remain curious. Unless there's a legal obligation to do this, it doesn't seem worthwhile.

J2O
"Doctors & Romans"
30s
23 Nov 2009
The Carry On movies appear to have provided part of the inspiration for this addition to the ongoing series of ads for J2O. As before the sound of one sequence has been swapped with the sound of another to create a comic juxtaposition.

J2O
"A Horse Called Cynthia"
30s
12 Apr 2009
Another amusing juxtaposition has a cowboy declaring his love for a horse and a period drama taking a strange direction. Talking horses is always a winner with Joe Public... but the connection with the advertised product is a bit spurious to say the least.

J2O
"Riviera Truck Stop"
30s
10 Apr 2009
An amusing conceit has the soundtracks of two scenes being swapped to create a comic effect. The voices of a pair mechanics are superimposed on a scene from one of those late night movies that can make you go blind... and vice versa.

J2O
"Street"
10s
9 Jan 2007
Another short based on the longer ad which aired earlier this month shows people in the street holding receptacles above their heads in hope of catching some J2O as we are once again asked to imagine what the World would be like if J2O replaced H2O. In a word - sticky.

J2O
"Drainpipe"
10s
8 Jan 2007
In keeping with the previous ad in this campaign, a woman places a jug at the bottom of her drainpipe as we are asked to imagine how things would be if H2O was J2O. It's a neat conceit that has the legs to run for a little while.

J2O
"Rain"
30s
25 Dec 2006
If H2O was like J2O then people would congregate outside at the prospect of rain with any kind of receptacle in order to catch the precious fluid according to this stylishly-filmed ad. Of course, if H2O was like J2O Glasgow would be a permanent sticky orange mess.

J2O
"Best Flight Ever"
30s
5 Dec 2005
Buried somewhere in this surreal commercial is the idea that if you eschew alcohol for this orange juice drink that you will experience life in a more fulfilling way... hence these air passengers find they are enjoying it so much that they rejoice when they learn they will be in the air for another 14 hours.

J2O
"Love Apple And Raspberry"
10s
11 Jul 2005
Strange short has a woman declaring her love for Apple and Raspberry flavour J2O as if in a trance when she is joined by two other who are also staring at the bottle as they add that they too love it.

J2O
"Alan"
30s
13 Jun 2005
A group of pub regulars point out to Alan how much they love him being there just after he has pointed out how much he loves being there. Presumably the idea is that they prefer a young man who drinks the occasional bottle of juice rather than one who downs ten pints of lager.
