Former Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek faces another kind of shoot-out in this fun Heineken commercial. Faced with a deadly duel, the Pole shows his famous ‘spaghetti legs’ are still in good knick. It’s an entertaining tribute to the goalie’s 2005 Champions League final heroics. Liverpool’s current crop could learn a thing or two.

Heineken and Sonny’s Fredrik Bond have good form with on-foot capers. With the Champions League underway again, the two reunite for this 60” foot chase. Former Real Madrid and Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy summons his inner action hero as he evades capture. He may be outnumbered, but van Nistelrooy has his own particular set of skills.

Ahead of the Champions' League Final, Jose Mourinho has a mission... to track down the last man who has decided he cannot watch with his friends. Working at a remote Arctic sub-station is no excuse as far as the 'special one' is concerned and he sends him on his way to the stadium where his friends are waiting.

From social media acclaim to biting parodies, Heineken’s ‘Worlds Apart’ film remains a talking point. However, this commercial returns to one of the lager’s trademark memes: an epic bar crawl. Those who’ve indulged mates as they exaggerate last night’s trip to the pub will appreciate this genre-hopping spectacle.

This is a really fascinating piece of work and it's given us a lot to think about. Our first instinct at DAVID HQ was one tinged with scepticism. It feels staged, and we concluded that it's not the spontaneous series of interactions it purports to be. We weren't alone in that... many on social media have levelled this charge. Heineken have addressed the accusation head on, claiming on Twitter that there's "no acting here, these are real stories from real people."

Last year, José Mourinho hollered at football fans around the world from his rooftop. Here, he’s checking his text messages… and he’s not impressed. The Special/Happy/Moody One reads a series of excuses from those who’ve flaked on the big game. Viewers are advised to tag unreliable mates, and those who are called out face Mourinho’s wrath… on social media, anyway.

Benicio del Toro shows he's mastered the art of the 'gift face' in Heineken's Christmas commercial. The Hollywood actor enjoys exchanging gifts with the family... even if a woolly jumper and a high-powered hand mixer weren't high on his Christmas list. No need to act when he reveals his gift to himself - a box of the advertised lager.

Heineken continues to promote responsible drinking with this cleverly crafted ad starring Formula One legend Jackie Stewart. Most of the film takes place during Stewart's 1960s-70s heyday, using footage from Roman Polanski's 'Weekend of a Champion'. As Stewart makes his way through bustling pit stops and post-race celebrations, he's constantly offered a bottle by well-wishers - but the driver remains focused on the road.

José Mourinho has had better weeks. Defeat in the Manchester derby to Pep Guardiola, questions over his team selection.. you'd think the Special One would fancy laying low for a few days. Instead, he's rallying the troops from the rooftop in this pulsating Heineken commercial directed by Guy Ritchie.

Benicio del Toro returns as the face of Heineken, but it's not all plain sailing for the actor in this commercial. He informs us that it takes fifteen years to become a master brewer for the lager... enough time for him to hone his signature glance at the bar. It seems to do the trick, but the barmaid only has eyes for another customer.

Shower singers and car crooners everywhere will appreciate this light-hearted commercial for Heineken featuring a chorus of enthusiastic music fans tackling the Mount Everest of karaoke tunes - Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. The charming, occasionally eardrum-grating renditions provided by the diverse cast make for an enjoyable twist on an Adland staple.

The first piece of work we've seen from David O'Neill since he joined The Love Commercial Production Company is a corker. Rio Ferdinand plays himself and a version of the protagonist as he rides to the rescue when a young man faces the prospect of missing a vital Champions League football match.

This enjoyable film for Heineken sees the Champions League sponsors ask whether or not loyalty is completely gone from football by giving one fan a match day conundrum: watch the game with his mates, or enjoy a VIP experience for one? The conceit unfolds with an insight into Simone's seemingly unbreakable bond with his pals when it comes to watching the footy together. Once he's presented with a ticket to the upcoming Roma v Real Madrid tie, however, the decision is a tap-in.

Proof that even winning an Academy Award doesn't guarantee you instant recognition comes in the form of this terrific ad for Heineken starring Antonio---sorry, Benicio Del Toro. This is a really interesting approach to the business of marketing beer. It's very candid about some men's inability to curtail their appetite for the product being promoted and has women complaining quite vocally about their disenchantment. If this didn't have the courage of its convictions, it might be directing punters towards a low-alcohol variant but it means what it says and the real 'hero' of the commercial is the fellow at the end who recognises he's had enough.

Ever wondered how the Northern Lights got their gleam? Well, forget all the nonsense about the magnetosphere being disturbed by solar wind, the real explanation is far more prosaic. It turns out that a space-walking Dutch astronaut was saluting his colleagues inside the capsule when he accidentally let go of his treasured bottle of Heineken.

Daniel Craig plays second fiddle to a young woman on a pair of waterskis in W+K Amsterdam's Heineken swansong, and it's a fantastic way to bow out. This Irish commercial attaching Heineken to the forthcoming rugby World Cup has a thematic connection to W+K Amsterdam's advertising for the Dutch lager and - though it's been done well - it doesn't quite have the spark of some of the other work. The protagonist runs into a fair few obstacles as he bids to deliver the coin needed for the toss that opens the hostilities.

When Fredrik Bond's in this kind of form, DAVID could watch his work all day long. If you want to stay up all night then you'd better choose the advertised beer, according to this commercial centred around a realistic - if somewhat sanitised - depiction of a nightclub. An elaborate showboat of an ad, this. A guy with (apparently) irresistible allure globe-hops from one happening joint to another, arousing jealousy in the hearts of men whose women dance with him. By the time he reaches his last destination he's found a way to thwart his rival suitors and share a drink with a lovely laydee.
