Chelsea midfielder Willian and Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford star in this entertaining Xbox Live commercial. As we hear commentators and pundits sing their praises, the pair are immersed in their respective ‘zones’. Still, something’s a little off about their warm-ups. We’ve seen the light stretches and noise-cancelling headphones before, but… a hand spa?

The two leave no stone unturned in their preparation. Dogs are shushed, cats are nudged outside, and cushions are arranged with gusto. It’s Premier League feng shui, and with good cause - FIFA 17 bragging rights are at stake.

Fans of the footy simulation will appreciate the dedication on show here. Minute adjustments to seating arrangements can make all the difference, and Rashford is amusingly thorough. Plus who would’ve thought Willian preferred moggy slippers?

With the green machine launching its high-powered ‘Project Scorpio’ variant later this year, it’s clear Microsoft’s online gaming service wishes to get as many FIFA fans onside as possible. This well-realised ad suggests that when the pre-match routines are done, the console’s online function will ensure a smooth contest.
