This Lotto player promises to buy her sister a, er, “spaceship” car if she wins Wednesday's jackpot. We’re sure she means “spacious”... though an intergalactic motor would be quite something. Regardless, the protagonist believes her sister deserves a family-sized treat. An ambitious bid for the “World’s Greatest Aunt” title, too.

Another amiable ‘what-if’ scenario from Lotto as this barber plans for the future. Ticket in hand, he promises to hand over the reins - well, scissors - to his old apprentice, Keith. Rather than splash the cash, John would rather give someone else a leg-up. Keith may need to clear his schedule if those numbers prove lucky.

Lotto’s ‘Who Wins If You Win?’ campaign continues to explore the UK’s selfless side. Having previously jumped between multiple talking heads, these new ads focus on one prospective winner each. This ticket holder promises to build a Scottish island retreat for her best friend, Tricia - only if her numbers come up, of course.

Mothers, fathers, and now brothers… this Lotto campaign aims to cover the entire family tree. These hypothetical winners reveal how they would treat their siblings. From new cars to private football pitches, everyone’s a winner. The best is saved for last, though - sounds like it will take more than a jackpot to fix her brother’s fashion sense.

Another sweet montage from Lotto sees various people discuss what they'd get for their other half if they won the jackpot. From playful gifts like giant Jenga sets to more practical presents (a very romantic pair of wellies), and even the rather backhanded suggestion of a hair transplant. We enjoy the diverse casting in these ads, giving us a range of answers from all walks of life.

Money can’t buy you happiness, but it can buy you a troupe of male Swedish dancers. Lotto’s latest batch of vox pops tackle a thorny subject: what would you buy your best friend? The responses range from the practical to the fantastical. Alas, one woman’s hopes of a Vegas getaway are quickly dashed. With friends like these, eh?

Lotto continue their unscripted interview series, this time asking people where they'd take their nearest and dearest if they won the jackpot. Answers range from staycations in Filey to the sunnier climes of Bora Bora and Morocco, with one guy even claiming he'd send his family to space if he had the cash. We're not sure that's a positive comment...

Fishing boats, virtual reality golf, and, er, gastric band surgery are just some of the Father's Day ideas proffered in this Lotto ad. This campaign's vox pop approach supports the notion that everyone has a wishlist when it comes to the jackpot. With one guaranteed millionaire in every draw, one dad could be in for a memorable June 18th.

This amiable ad for Lotto asks parents what they'd get for their children if they won the big prize. The answers are diverse, ranging from vehicles to animals and even etiquette lessons. Our favourite response comes from the mum who'd buy her son a house... so he could move out of hers. Not the most subtle hint to fly the nest.

"Raffle Winner"

2 Jun 2017
Another graphic ad for Lotto in which a winner expresses their disbelief at having nabbed the big prize. Marjorie is astonished to discover she's a millionaire, having 'got her zeroes mixed up' and mistakenly thinking she'd won a thousand pounds. Lotto remind us that we too could be one of the six millionaires they claim to make per day - all we have to do is buy a ticket.

This lacks the celebrity razzmatazz of previous Lotto ads, but it does a neat job incorporating the game's signature pink ticket. Animated text corresponds with winners expressing their delight over the telephone. Lotto reveal "at least six millionaires are made every week" thanks to them - and only by playing can punters anticipate that all-important phone call.

Dylan - a keen yet timid young football player - sees his thus-far pedestrian career in amateur kickabouts take a dramatic turn for the better in this excellent ad for Lotto New Zealand. One trepidatious tap to the ball creates a tectonic shift in his fortunes, despite his right leg's best efforts to sabotage his every move.

This animated Lotto film pays tribute to those who've added to the game's charitable fund in 2016. The ad demonstrates how Lotto funding has aided urban restoration, community projects, and UK athletes. So even if the odds of us winning the jackpot are longer than ever before, at least someone's benefiting from our weekly stakes.

The National Lottery invites us to take part in the UK's "biggest sports day", with something to suit all levels of ability from hurdles to hula-hooping. The cheery animation reassures us that there's nothing intimidating about joining in... and as our Olympic athletes have benefited from lottery funding, you never know where it might lead!

The National Lottery attempt to blend the tasteful animated style used in their recent Team GB film with Lorraine Kelly's chirpy presence, yet the two elements fail to gel in this 20" ad. The cause is good, but the execution feels like it could have done with some polish - and why is the final line delivered like an annoying neighbour you're hoping to avoid answering the door to?

Katie Price continues to provide value for Lotto as the model makes an ill-advised foray into sports broadcasting for her fantasy channel, 'KTV'. While it's not quite Jack Whitehall fumbling in the velodrome alongside Sir Bradley Wiggins, we do get some fun glimpses of Price showing a table tennis table who's boss and expressing confusion at the Olympic walking technique.

An elegant animation style is used to draw attention to the National Lottery's support of Team GB - the collection of athletes who will be covering our nation in glory in Rio next month. Tickets providing no win for those who bought them are nonetheless valuable to our Olympic effort as they fly from homes and boost the competitors.

A fine postscript to the main Lotto ad starring James Blunt as he plans to Bluntify as many households as possible. As he keeps his ticket close to his guitar strings, the radio announces he has two chances to make his megalomaniacal project a reality this week - and if we want our mirrors to remain as they are, we must hasten to our local Lotto vendor to snuff out Blunt's odds.

The National Lottery dangle a carrot - well, a cherry, actually - in front of players eager for a second stab at glory after the main draw. Thanks to some simple animation, this 10" commercial advises unsuccessful gamers not to tear up their tickets in despair straightaway - instead, by entering their ticket number online, they have a bonus chance to win £1 million... and then throw away their ticket.

We've now seen The National Lottery's Katie Price 'KTV' channel in various guises since it launched last summer, but the concept manages to lend itself well to the bumper format. With each ad break for Britain's Got Talent, we get a glimpse at what a Katie Price-laden schedule would look like, including sports reporting that makes Alan Partridge look a broadcast heavyweight.

To celebrate a decade's worth of Susan Boyle, Stavros Flatley, and Pudsey the Dog on Britain's Got Talent, Lotto pledge to make ten millionaires on the show's tenth anniversary. They do so by revisiting Katie Price's dream project, 'KTV' - giving us a behind the scenes look at her considerable acting, erm, range. Once again, Peter Serafinowicz's VO reminds us only we can stop such a broadcast folly by buying a ticket.

The strength of the National Lottery's campaign means that even these draw-focused edits have value to them. As the likes of Price, Edmonds, and LLlewelyn-Bowen pray for their vanity projects to become reality, Peter Serafinowicz's VO does a fine job of conveying the gravity of the situation - someone, ANYONE has to win above this lot.

A snippet from the National Lottery's full-length collaboration with the cast of Gogglebox focuses on the cultured pairing of Giles and Mary. For the former, winning would be about "modest bequests" and - amusingly - solid gold strokage. One of the nation's go-to conversation topics is what to do in the event of a Lotto win, so it makes perfect sense to gauge the thoughts of these armchair observers that so many viewers have taken to their hearts.

As with the previous executions, the broadcast version of the new National Lottery film gives us a taste of what's in store if we watch the extended version.
