UK Craft Beer

Camden Town Brewery's current campaign is full of personality, and this ad introduces us to another lively character from the borough. Drag queen Carl tells a story about rejecting 'the usual', fully embracing the 'stroppy cow' persona whilst resplendent in corset and oversized victory rolls. These films give glimpses into interesting worlds, just enough to leave us wanting more.

Camden Town Brewery celebrates their home turf in this love letter to the borough. As an actor delivers an impassioned ode to Camden's duality - high and low-tech, full of hope and conflict, at once old and new - we see snapshots of the place's unique culture. It's an impressively constructed piece of work, cleverly positioning craft beer as part of a long, artistic tradition.

One of four Camden Town Brewery ads which encourage us to “raise hells” (responsibly, of course). Blind actor Anna Cannings reminds us there’s more to life than what we can see. Hells Lager in hand, she toasts her other senses. Canning highlights society’s reliance on sight-based language, which also brings the lager’s taste to the fore.

This ad for the Camden Town Brewery's 'Hells' beer sees a silky-voiced actor confront us with a Shakespearean call to seize the day. It's refreshing to see an ad from the emerging craft beer genre which doesn't rely on parody and dares to venture outside comedy to make a splash, and this dramatic delivery certainly achieves that.
