Littlewoods employ a giant calendar to illustrate the special moments iwhen we might want to splurge. Whether it's new football boots or a special birthday present, they promise to help spread the cost of gifts with no nasty surprises. The visuals aren't particularly distinctive, but it gets the brand's message across.

"Christmas Walk"

3 Nov 2016
The Littlewoods Christmas ad encourages us to get some fresh air with attitude on Christmas Day. There's a lovely 'tooling up' sequence as everyone steps out the door in style. With their thick jackets, Beats headphones, and lightsabers, nothing can halt this festive swagger... until another family emerges from around the corner. Some textbook British awkwardness rounds off this entertaining effort.

Littlewoods brings Myleene Klass back to reaffirm its wallet-friendly options. Klass seems to have lost her magical touch from previous ads, so its a stroll through the circle-themed set instead. Zero-percent interest, free delivery, free returns... the online retailer hopes as many of these incentives will sink in before the Christmas rush begins.

The zero motif is worked hard in this ad underlining the attractiveness of Littlewoods' credit offer. The kind of music that blares when you visit a clothes stores offers a suggestion of youthful vigour and it's clear that Littlewoods are hoping to attract younger customers rather than all those dreadful over-50s with their awful bulging purses.

"Summer Party"
30s
4 May 2016
Myleene Klass wanders around a party in someone's garden fingering the guests one by one. But - fear not - the former Hear'Say member is transforming clothes and barbecues to illustrate the kinds of things that can be bought from the advertised retailer. Her magic touch is all it takes, it would seem... though we suspect a credit card might be handy too.

"Magical Night"

It doesn't matter if she's out in the cold on a moonlit night, Myleene Klass still has the magic touch as Littlewoods present their Christmas offering. As Klass plays a gentle cover of OneRepublic's 'Counting Stars', one family's ideal Christmas becomes a reality... gift by gift. Another attractive way of demonstrating how Littlewoods makes treating your loved ones cost-effective without compromising on quality.

A shiny happy family start preparing for the autumn from the comfort of their living room. Mum picks out a new sofa as if by magic - yes, it's choose-a-sofa season again - and as everyone piles on in delight, a state of the art TV appears as well. And of course, it's all made possible because with Littlewoods you can spread the cost. No wonder they're smiling, eh.

Myleene Klass provides her customary sparkle as she joins some holidaymakers in front of pastel beach huts and points her magic finger at them. The first two beneficiaries of her largesse are 'covered up' in a fashion that suggests she may have adopted the Victorian values of a radical imam but fear not, dear viewers, she has not declared a jihad on bikinis.

"Christmas Panto"
40s
7 Nov 2014
Oh no he isn't! Oh yes he is! Indeed it's true - Christopher Biggins puts in quite the appearance in the Littlewoods Christmas panto as - what else - the dame. Gifts galore and snazzy outfits are conjured in place of frumpy looks and workaday items when Myleene Klaas's genie is released from the lamp and does her special pointy thing.

"A Summer To Remember"
20s
5 May 2014
Littlewoods continues to widen its appeal with its latest ad. A decidedly middle-class household has brightened up its decor with furnishings from the online retailer while Myleene Klass does her fairy-dust sparkle thingy to the strains of Sunshine Love. It's summery, it's upbeat, and it's a very astute way of suggesting Littlewoods offers a wider array of tasteful stuff than you may assume.

Littlewoods offer to help give you a summer to remember in this spot where Myleene adds her magical touch to all things outdoors. From barbies and furniture to swings and slides, you can have it all right now thanks to credit; and the ad has shrewdly used a very attractive garden to plant the idea that with the right patio set you'll have your very own paradise.

So Littlewoods are first out of the starting gate with their Christmas ad and... well, it's all right. Myleene Klass does what Myleene Klass always does and there's nothing to frighten the horses (which might have been a fairly important part of the brief after the controversy of 2011).

"Autumn Fair"

18 Sep 2013
To the soaring voice of singer Arlissa, Myleene Klass wanders through an enchanted-looking fairground, casting stylish spells on everyone she meets. Strongmen are transformed into dappers chaps, mummies become yummy, and and all are entranced by her magical touch. Beautiful production design, too - should really capture the target audience's attention.

Another burst of The Steve Miller Band's Abracadabra accompanies unspeakable cuteness in this postscript to the new Littlewoods campaign. As ever, Myleene Klass is on hand to add a little sparkle - quite literally in this case as she uses her magic wand to rustle up the goods.

"The Birthday Party"
30s
2 Aug 2013
A rather charming ad for the online brand's younger customers. Dressed in their finest birthday togs, some children enjoy a bunch of party games to the tune of Abracadabra. One is a mini version of Myleene Klass who appears to be hosting the party. The children are sweet, the clothes look good, and, all round, it's an excellent piece of work.

Myleene Klass continues to provide the face of Littlewoods; helping give cash-strapped fashion shoppers their own special touch of style. From the moment she steps out of the sea like a mail-order Ursula Andress to the moment the VO instructs us to spread the cost so we can have a beautiful summer, it's all sun, sand and sparkle.

"Playground"

Myleene Klass is having fun in a playground by changing her friends' clothes just by touching them. Persuading Klass to 'defect' to Littlewoods after her association with Marks & Spencer is a bit of a coup for the Liverpool-based retailer but a longer execution would have better suited this piece.

"Let's Do Lunch Sponsorship"

Myleene Klass has never been one to stay loyal to any one thing for very long and she demonstrates this propensity by swapping Marks & Spencer for Littlewoods. It's a bit like Robin van Persie leaving Arsenal... if you imagine that he'd moved to Rochdale instead of Manchester United.
