ANTHONY PRINCE LESLIE JOINS BLACK DOG FILMS.
26 April 2022

Director Anthony Prince Leslie has signed with Black Dog Films for UK work. The Jamaican-American runs Equator Productions in Brooklyn, New York, helping as many local artists as possible to express themselves. This impressed Black Dog head Martin Roker no end.

"As a filmmaker, Anthony's work champions authenticity in storytelling, celebrating underrepresented voices," Roker says. "Our values of creative expression align, so I'm really looking forward to collaborating with Anthony and finding that space between culture, brand, and music."

Meanwhile, Leslie reckons that his Black Dog work will have a ripple effect: "I truly feel that seeing is believing and every time I explore my voice behind the lens, I know there will soon follow a young, inspired mind opening to new possibilities because of my existence."

It's a bold claim from the New Yorker, but Prince is resolute: "I look to create thought-provoking visuals that inspire people to question their conditioned understanding of the world we live in. I'm most eager to continue my growth as a director and to collaborate with a new network of forward-thinking creatives, introducing them to my Equator community."
