1. Jesse Lewis-Reece
Bournemouth Film School graduate Jesse Lewis-Reece has wasted no time in bringing his work to widespread industry attention. He's already demonstrated a knack for affecting, deceptively complex performances, ensuring that each story he tells is delivered with heart.
This scene from his critically-acclaimed 2018 release ‘Bleach’, for example, shows a young boxer who battles his emotions and inner sense of self as much as his opponents. It’s all part of Lewis-Reece’s bid to highlight deeply human experiences and champion marginalised voices.
2. Ryan Schude
Ryan Schude's distinctly quirky visual style has made him something of a standout in the world of still photography, with his collection 'Tableaux Vivants' painting a composed and hyper-realistic picture of the American heartland.
Now, Schude is extending his latest project 'Them and Theirs' - a series about people, their cars, and Americana - into the world of film. Schude’s adept visuals underscore his commercial potential, so it's no wonder You Are Here have snapped him up to help develop his filmic talents further.
