Spanish director Anuk Rohde is the latest addition to Friend London's music video roster.
Rohde has a taste for the theatrical which pleases artists and audiences alike, with elaborate costumes and ballsy production design dominating her reel. Check out her medieval promo for Se So Neon's 'Joke' to see what we mean.
Such work leads Danny Herman, Friend's head of music videos, to say: "We're extremely excited to welcome Anuk to the Friend family. The fearless worlds she creates have had us spellbound for a long time and we know we are going to create some magic together."
The move should please fans of singer Alice Merton, with Rohde's fiery promo for 'Vertigo' inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road and other post-apocalyptic romps. Expect no half measures from the Spaniard's next outing.
