MAGNUS HÄRDNER LANDS AT MAD COW.

When he's not engrossed in a David Attenborough documentary or crying at Adele's performance of 'Someone Like You' at the Royal Albert Hall, Magnus Härdner directs TV commercials with a painterly eye. He also plays a mean set of drums.

The well-rounded Swede is now on the books at Mad Cow Films, who were drawn to ads like this one for Spotify. As 'Liberated' by Young Fathers plays in the background, we see inhibitions shed and moments seized in Härdner's well-cast montage. The advertised platform rounds off the stream team, as it were.


Elsewhere on Härdner's reel, this stylish ad for Urbanears boasts strong production design and an infectious beat. To showcase the brand's range of wireless speakers, Härdner crafts a multi-storey shindig where each room has its own vibe, and ensures each cut delivers something different.

Chic yet playful, the ad conveys the Stockholm-based brand's meticulous approach to home audio. Whether you're brushing your teeth or practising your putting, Urbanears speakers have the soundtrack covered. The choreography is also lovely as hips sway and legs twitch in controlled bursts while the earworm tune digs ever deeper.
