BRUCE ST CLAIR JOINS RATTLING STICK
15 March 2019

Rattling Stick have signed director Bruce St Clair to their roster for UK representation.

Based in Madrid, the self-taught filmmaker specialises in exploring the hi-jinks and optimism of youth in his commercial work. That's not to say his portfolio is in any way limited, quite the opposite - it also includes sweeping landscapes, polished VFX, and deftly choreography.

Bruce has an incredible knack for delivering stunning work of seismic proportions and he adds another exciting dimension to our offering.

His Christmas commercial for IKEA in 2016 proved a particular hit, and demonstrates many of the visual traits St Clair has become renowned for.

Three boys reunite their Christmas tree with its forest brethren in the 80s-tinged caper, which mixes a 'Stranger Things' vibe with a sense of holiday drama and boundless imagination. Whimsical and wintry, St Clair pairs nostalgia with camaraderie to great effect.

Rattling Stick say of their new signing: "Bruce has an incredible knack for delivering stunning work of seismic proportions and he adds another exciting dimension to our offering. He's an undeniably talented and inherently cool man and we're looking forward to working with him."

In addition to his global outlook, St Clair has enjoyed marked success in the car sector. Past shoots for the likes of Audi and Mercedes-Benz make Rattling Stick excited to see what St Clair can produce next.

St Clair shares his new home's enthusiasm and is eager to get stuck in to new projects. He says: "I've been a huge fan of Rattling Stick for many years and I know it's the right company for me to expand and do great creative work, surrounded by immeasurable talent such as Daniel Kleinman and Ringan Ledwidge.

"Scripts and production value are becoming more and more challenging but it seems that the quality of the work being produced at Rattling Stick is unaffected by this and the work coming out of them is fantastic. Can't wait to get started!"
