RIC CANTOR SIGNS WITH EPOCH IN THE UK, AMSTERDAM, IRELAND, AND ASIA.

Ric Cantor has been added to Epoch Films's roster in the UK, Amsterdam, Ireland, and Asia. The British director, who divides his time between London and Los Angeles, has carved a niche in the realm of comedy, often mining the social awkwardness for sketches and TV commercials alike. He cut his teeth in the early noughties directing episodes of Da Ali G Show, Man Stroke Woman and the feature film Suzie Gold.

This commercial for Specsavers combines comedy and agony as Ric Cantor perfectly lands its point about the importance about being able to accurately see an address. Every step of a delivery man's painful journey is felt by the audience and the payoff amplifies his ire. Clearly, he should've gone to the advertised opticians.

The horror of making the wrong takeaway choice is in the spotlight in this commercial for Domino's Pizza. In just thirty seconds, Cantor speeds through a number of abject outcomes for an over-ambitious dad as he contemplates alternatives to the advertised option. Don't do it, dad.
