CICLOPE 2024 IS ALMOST HERE AND SO IS THE ENTRY DEADLINE

Entries are quickly coming to a close for this year’s CICLOPE Awards, with the deadline being this week - Friday, 23 August. A truly international affair, this year’s Grand & Executive Juries are comprised of 200 members from all corners of the industry, who will come together from almost thirty different countries to decide this year's shortlists for excellence in craft.

Then at the popular three day Festival in Berlin in October, the six Jury Presidents will head up the final debates and judging of each Awards section. This year’s industry leaders invited to chair the sections are Medb Riordan of Academy Films, Julie Evans of Black Kite Studios, Tim Nash of Somesuch, Alexander Kalchev of DDB Paris, Bianca Guimaraes of Mischief, and Carol Dunn of Barking Owl.


CICLOPE CEO, Francisco Condorelli, says that this year they’re “particularly excited about showcasing the work entered into the new categories across Animation and within the brand new Innovation section, which celebrates work embracing new technologies and exploring the moving boundaries of creativity.”

In the spirit of the Festival, reduced entry fees are available to those whose work is eligible for the two New Talent categories, and the Student Film category. Entries close at 23.59 PST on Friday 23 August, and shortlists will be announced on 26 September.
