Yann Demange, the director of ''71'' and 'White Boy Rick', has joined RESET for UK representation. The company already represent him across the pond, but Blighty has a special place in Demange's heart.
The Frenchman won Best Director at the 2014 British Independent Film Awards for ''71', and he's itching to reacquaint himself with UK audiences (he also directed reality TV horror series Dead Set and season one of Top Boy). The Parisian has co-founder Dave Morrison's full backing.
"RESET has always been centred around a culture of true filmmakers and Yann speaks volumes to this," Morrison says. "This move enables us to continue to support his range of talent and provide opportunities beyond the United States."
For a taste of his commercial flair, check out this busy spot for FIFA 20 which examines the difference between right and wrong in cheeky fashion. With Demange's encouragement, players both virtual and physical ignore the rulebook (or run circles around it until the sun goes down).
