Director Cyril Guyot has joined Darling Films for commercial representation. Born in Paris and based in New York, Guyot has carved out a hand niche for himself in the fashion world. From concept to completion, he aims to please clients while developing his own distinctive style. |
This is evident in Guyot's work for Long Island shoe brand Steve Madden. Hollywood becomes 'Maddenwood' in a film starring Chloe Cherry, Bella Poarch, and Latto, with nods to augmented reality and surrealism throughout. Guyot grew up surrounded by history and fine art, but he's avant-garde through and through.
Head of new business Kat Downs admires Guyot's boldness, as well as his commercial track record: "Cyril has an incredible body of work leaning into fashion and beauty with leading clients including Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Estee Lauder, Tom Ford, Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, Mercedes, Netflix, and Samsung. What really excited us though when looking at his work is how forward-thinking and creative he is. "Cyril also has an eclectic body of work including cars and comedy and we can't wait to bring his unique visual aesthetic woven with his LGBTQIA+ perspective to the UK market." Before Guyot arrives on these shores, check out this Samsung spot that stars 'Emily in Paris' regulars Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery. Sacré bleu!
