HENRY RING THE CHANGES.
7 July 2020

Filmmakers Paul Mignot, Dani Pearce, Vedran Rupic, and Brazilian directing duo Salsa have joined Henry for French representation.

The mini-signing spree adds more depth to the Parisians’ already formidable roster, and gives both homegrown and international talent the chance to shine.

Scroll down for more on Henry’s new arrivals...

1. Dani Pearce

Sydney-based director Dani Pearce cut her teeth as a creative assistant before stepping behind the camera in 2017. She’s now one of Australia’s most promising storytellers and a YDA winner.

Her debut short film, ‘Nursed Back’, earned a Vimeo Staff Pick badge for its subtle depiction of grief. Now she’s targeting critical and commercial success with Henry.

2. Paul Mignot

A graduate of Élancourt’s International Institute Of Image And Sound, Paul Mignot has earned a reputation as a meticulous director with technical know-how and a distinctive voice.

The Frenchman joins Henry with a solid commercial record, while his narrative work has earned him plenty of admirers. Check out this lavish Schweppes ad to see what Mignot can do.

3. Salsa

Salsa, aka Diego Claudino and Guto Azevedo, are a Brazilian directing duo who met at university in Rio de Janeiro and have been busy ever since, whether as filmmakers or agency men.

Salsa’s profile continues to grow courtesy of films like 2017’s ‘This is Flamengo’ - a nod to one of Brazil’s most supported football clubs. Rival fans may balk, but Claudino and Azevedo do the Rio giants justice.

4. Vedran Rupic

Born in Bosnia and raised in Sweden, director Vedran Rupic is perhaps best known for his offbeat collaborations with DJ Salvatore Ganacci, including promos for ‘Horse’ and ‘Boycycle’.

The latter is a surreal and sinewy road trip movie, with Rupic injecting heart into the story of a human-motorcycle hybrid. It may be unusual, but the approach of Henry's new addition has mileage.
