DIRECTING DUO BONAMAZE ARRIVE AT FLIPT

Directing duo Bonamaze have come up with a fascinating USP by capturing the audio essences of places and entities. The enterprising pair are expert in a number of film-making disciplines, bringing everything all together with tremendous skill to create their remarkable video soundscapes. This makes them a perfect fit for the Flipt/side, the esoteric division of FLIPT which encourages both experimentation and innovation.

The clip below is a fantastic introduction to their cacophonous technique, as it takes the viewer on an aural tour of New York City, providing a ridiculous sensory overload which is simultaneously disturbing and astounding.


It's a real trip and explains in just seventy-five seconds why FLIPT's Trent Simpson was so keen to add the duo to his roster.

in an earlier film (below) they wroked with legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk to capture 'The Sound of Skateboarding', and it's as wild a ride as the NYC film, and packed with so much detail that you'll struggle to believe that its runtime is less than a minute.
