IMOGEN HARRISON JOINS STICKER STUDIOS.
1 November 2023

Director Imogen Harrison has signed with Sticker Studios for commercial representation. The move coincides with the release of 'Teenage Love Forever', a short film that explores love, communication, and intimacy (keep your eyes peeled for DAVID's verdict).

Since then, Harrison has directed for Royal London, Mary Middlefield, and Beaverbrooks. One commercial for the latter has a woman discover a token of appreciation from her partner when she handles the 2am feed without her.

Harrison keeps it real, and the resulting film is grounded in authenticity rather than glamour... a good choice, as it makes it so much more relatable. The empathetic voice-over contributes to this vibe, and proves to be another wise decision. It looks like Sticker Studios have made a smart move, too.

For now, let's take a look at Harrison's work for homelessness charity St Mungo's. The reality of living on the streets is depicted in evocative fashion here, it's not a fate we'd wish on anyone, but for far too many people, this life is their daily reality.

Harrison's 2022 film reminds us that we are not entirely impotent.... we can contribute to the funding of admirable charities that can make a real difference. The director and a crew largely made up of female heads of department approach the topic with compassion and empathy.

And what does the director have to say? "I have long admired the creative focused approach to filmmaking of Sticker Studios, it's inspiring to see a production company dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the visual expectation of commercials," says Harrison. "It is really rewarding to be working with producers who not only want to develop my ideas but also want to grow them beyond what would be ordinarily expected."
