Dimonique 'Dime' Davis, director of A Black Lady Sketch Show, has joined Merman for global representation. Davis bagged two Emmy nominations for her work on the series, and when you watch the Bad Bitch Support Group sketch, it's easy to see why.
Angela Bassett stars as a counsellor who faces her biggest challenge yet: a bad bitch who wants to become an okay bitch ("I wanna wear normal house slippers, not three-inch-heel house shoes"). Each revelation ramps up the absurdity until Davis reveals the sinister forces behind the Bad Bitch Support Group.
This and other projects caught the eye of global managing partner Kira Carstensen, who says: "It's so amazing when you admire someone as a person as much as their work. Dime has a rare quality that is hard to find: she brings people in."
