PETE HENDERSON STROLLS INTO PARK VILLAGE.
9 June 2022

Canadian comedy director Pete Henderson has become the latest addition to Park Village's sharp roster. He's new to the UK market, but Henderson caught DAVID's eye back in 2015 with a raunchy ad for book publishers Harlequin.

As a woman enjoys a steamy encounter with a bare-chested army officer on the living room sofa, her nearby husband seems oblivious to this, ahem, military exercise. Turns out she has a copy of The Marine's Last Defense by Angi Morgan—ideal escapism while the golf is on telly.

It's this naughty streak that won over Park Village's Leonie Ellis: "His observed, characterful builds are masterfully crafted, setting up punchlines with rug pulls that U-turn narratives wonderfully and make ideas sing. I'm sure his wit will resonate with UK clients, and I can't wait to see what he creates here."

I don't know where one project starts and another finish.... the creativity is kaleidoscopic.

 ”

Managing partner Adam Booth adds: "Pete's sharp wit and knack for character performances is a fantastic addition to the growing Park Village roster. Having found success shooting for a raft of well-known brands in North America, we're excited to introduce him exclusively to the UK."

Last but not least, Henderson is looking forward to the ride (not the kind seen in that Harlequin ad though). He says: "As my first foray into the UK, I am so excited to join Park Village because their roster is so world-class. The company is so multifaceted and dynamic, I don't know where one project starts and another finish.... the creativity is kaleidoscopic."
