HOMESPUN YARNS 2019
8 May 2019

There's still time to enter this year's Homespun Yarns competition as this year's deadline is Sunday 19th May. The submissions chosen by the Homespun panel will receive unparalleled support to help them make their short film.

It's a formula which produces magical results year after year, and each of the participating filmmakers can expect their prospects to receive a massive boost.

This is the competition's sixth year, and the Homespun Yarns team have once again set a highly intriguing brief for their would-be filmmakers. Based on the adage that a picture paints a thousand words, they're asking for submissions based on the following image.

You don't need to be an established filmmaker to enter and the guidelines provided by Homespun Yarns make it very easy to pitch your idea. And with the support on offer to those whose submissions are selected, you know for certain that you're going to be end up with an outcome which does full justice to your idea.

This competition is an extraordinary opportunity for filmmakers and Homespun Yarns team have managed to fully maintain its integrity, and keep it true to its founding principles.

It also culminates in one of the best industry events of the year when all the completed films are shown and each member of the audience is given the opportunity to vote for their favourite.

We heartily recommend you take a good long look at the image and see what your imagination can conjure... you never know where it might lead.

Everything you need to enter the competition, can be found on this link.
