Razvi honed his documentary skills further with a series of heart-wrenching ads for Road Safety Ireland. The powerful campaign blends commercial and PSA to tell the story of a family deeply affected by a terrible drunk driving accident.
Offering insight into all those affected by the crash - family and the nurses who tried to save the deceased alike - Razvi's mature, delicate direction lets the material breathe and gives his subjects space to tell their harrowing story in their own words.
In keeping with his skills for emotionally poignant material, Razvi has also branched out to work in music promos.
His quietly touching film for Frances' 'Don't Worry About Me' is beautifully low key, demonstrating the director's ability to keep just a light hand on the wheel and let the material shine.
The piece feels contemporary yet timeless, demonstrating the kind of nuance Furlined are adding to their team with Razvi's addition.
"Zak’s craft in execution and confidence in visual storytelling is beyond his years," says Ben Davies, EP/Director of Development at Furlined, at the signing. "I’ve known and followed Zak’s journey for quite some time and I’m thrilled to be by his side as he takes the next steps in his career."
Razvi himself said: "I've admired the work coming out of Furlined for a long time, so it's hugely exciting for me to be joining them. They are not just incredibly talented, but also share the same passion and focus as I do to produce work we can all be proud of."
Zak Razvi's reel is now live at Furlined, and we recommend you take a gander. For more information, get in touch with Olly Chapman at firstname.lastname@example.org or give the team a ring on 020 3826 6610.
