Donoho cut his teeth directing commercials for local businesses and promos for up and coming artists.
His promo for Jack Garratt's 'Weathered' depicts the relationship between three brothers, and shows Donoho's ability to delicately handle an emotional brief. It's beautifully filmed work, and hints at the young filmmaker's narrative potential.
Donoho moved into directing full time in 2016, and since then his career has been on a relentless upward trajectory. He's won numerous accolades for his promo work, including back to back MTV VMA awards.
His promo for Danger Mouse's 'Chase Me' uses footage from 'Baby Driver' and mixes dynamic performance with nail-biting car work. Donoho keeps the audience on the edge of their seat throughout, demonstrating he can handle a high-octane brief just as deftly as an intimate one.
Donoho has become known for his cinematic visuals and passion for character creation - skills Bullion are keen to nurture.
Both are on display in his recent promo for Vic Mensa's 'Rage'. Donoho's background in VFX serves him well here, as he moves smoothly from depicting a dramatic plane crash to an almost unearthly baptism of fire and water. With this rapid evolution of his talents, Bullion certainly have reason to be excited about welcoming him to the team.
