MACHINE ENLIST BEN GULVIN.
26 May 2021

Top sound designer Ben Gulvin "cannot wait to get started" at his new home, Machine. Gulvin joins after seventeen years at 750mph, and he admits the decision to leave was "a tough one". However, a creative partnership with Patch Rowland and Alex Bingham proved irresistible.

"The wealth of talent I was surrounded by gave me the inspiration and drive to learn, develop and refine my career," Gulvin says. "The opportunity to now develop my career further at Machine and to be an integral part of their growth was something I could not miss out on."

Fellow sound designers Rowland and Bingham say Gulvin's "commitment to craft, popularity with clients, and work speak for themselves", adding: "It's great to be emerging from the working-from-home caves, to have expansion on the cards, and to be welcoming Ben to the team."

It's a sentiment shared by executive producer Matej Oreskovic: "Ben has all of the attributes we look for, and a wealth of experience to boot. The past year has been hard for everyone in our industry, but we have great ambitions for Machine and continue to thrive despite difficult trading circumstances."
