JOSHUA H WALKER JOINS THE SWEETSHOP.
15 October 2021

The Sweetshop have completed the signing of Joshua H Walker for work across the globe.

Walker's credits include a compelling ad for the Royal Australian Air Force that takes viewers back to the age when the only way was up and everything called for tilting your head back. A skilful blend of between domestic and airborne imagery emphasises how humble beginnings can be the ideal launchpad for recruits.

Such work leads CEO Wilf Sweetland to say: "Creatives and producers alike speak highly of working with him and I can see why. I have admired Joshua's work from afar for a long time and feel honoured that we will now represent him."

To be a successful director it takes the collaboration and trust of an entire organisation.

 ”

Other satisfied clients include Australia's National Broadband Network, who collaborated with Walker in 2017. His 60" commercial is a convincing means of positing Australia as a scientific and technological powerhouse, whether on land or at sea.

According to Walker, ads like this are only possible through teamwork: "To be a successful director it takes the collaboration and trust of an entire organisation. Sweetshop is a collection of good and genuine people, which is so important because, after the chaos of creativity, it's the people around you who matter most and help you to deliver the best work."
