DANIELE ANASTASION JOINS KNUCKLEHEAD

Acclaimed documentary filmmaker Daniele Anastasion has signed to Knucklehead for representation in the UK and Amsterdam.

The writer and director has a keen observational eye, and is known for her ability to draw small details to the fore via laser-focused attention to detail. She cut her teeth on documentary TV series for National Geographic, and is highly experienced when it comes to drawing natural, emotive performances from her subjects.

Anastasion's focus on emotional storytelling translates perfectly into the commercial world, and she's shot successful campaigns for the likes of USPS and the New York Times. Her series 'Run Mama Run' for ESPN Films, which follows an elite runner training to make the US Olympic team while pregnant, is a particularly good example of her ability to blend absorbing visuals with compelling narrative. It's this which initially drew Knucklehead's attention.
