Steven Briand (Bounty) and Julien Jourdain De Muizon (Banana) met at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and have been inseparable ever since. In fact, 2022 marks the duo's tenth anniversary... and what better way to celebrate than with a short animation? "InTENsity is a homage to ten years of collaboration," Briand says. "We wanted this film to embody us, our faces, bodies, looks, origins, inspiration, passions, skills, friendships, and our underlying bromance… everything Bounty/Banana".
Jourdain De Muizon is equally proud of the results: "After various projects, both commercial and personal, we decided to focus on a film where we explore our creativity with maximum freedom, where we work with people we love, and where we end up with a film that looks like us." BRUT founder and director Martin Allais likes what he sees, and is eager to help the next phase of Bounty/Banana's career: "As our directing talent grow, so does BRUT and we like to support them back with all the resources they need to research and develop their most authentic ideas. Because when they grow, so do we.
