There's a playful dynamism on show in this piece directed (and co-wrote with Katherine Ryan) for Glamour Magazine's Woman of the Year awards.
While Berry George's background as a journalist must have helped her maximise the impact of the female empowerment on show in this ad for the British Army.
To judge by her indelibly enthusiastic quote on the press release, Hannah Berry George is delighted with her new home: "This feels surreal as fuck - a real ‘pinch me’ moment. I’ve found my family - my home - and I can’t wait to make hilarious, odd, quirky, eccentric and beautiful things together with Shiv, Spencer and the whole indelible Merman team." And, this is not a case of unrequited love. According to Merman: "We were instantly struck by her personality, her searing ambition, passion and knowledge on a multitude of subjects and her diverse body of work. "She has natural comedy bones, stemming from a background in standup and a stint writing with and directing Katherine Ryan. This, juxtaposed with her work seen through a powerful female lens showcased in her striking piece for the British Army and more recently her moving and original multi-media documentary series for MBC, featuring women expressing themselves through the power of music, launching in spring. "We cannot wait to support Hannah in her multifaceted career and feel the world is most definitely her oyster!"
