CICLOPE ANNOUNCES ITS FULL PROGRAMME FOR BERLIN 2024. |
|
13 September 2024 |
|
CICLOPE Festival returns to Berlin this October, and has just announced its full programme and speaker lineup. This year’s event includes talks from the people behind some of the industry’s most respected work, including David Droga, Aoife McArdle, Steve Rogers, Sharon Horgan, Bianca Guimaraes and Jason Kreher. |
The complete 2024 programme again all takes place under one roof, at the Universität der Künste’s (UdK) Concert Hall, where three days of inspiring talks, the good kind of networking, and celebrating the best craft and creativity from around the world await those attending.
The Craft Sessions will also give all attendess the chance to sit down with some of the industry’s leading boundary-pushers in a smaller group setting. The schedule includes Sessions such as "Untold Stories: Insights from Four Female Production Company Owners", led by Prettybird’s Ali Brown, with Epoch Films’ Mindy Goldberg, Biscuit Filmworks’ Shawn Lacy, and Eleanor’s Sophie Gold; and "Musical Bias & The Brief: Storytelling in Original Film Composition", led by Zac Colwell and Halle Petro at Sonic Union. Directing duo King She (Radha Ganti & Robert Lopuski) will run "Directing Mentorship: The Power of NaÏveté", and last year’s popular editing workshop with Work Editorial will return. Registrations for these Sessions will soon be open to all Festival ticket holders.
Francisco Condorelli, CEO, said: "The unique character of CICLOPE is that it’s a creative home for individuals from all areas of our industry, bringing those from every department of the credits list together in one room; from the clients and agencies who build a campaign, to all the post teams who make the final film sing. We can’t wait to see what future collaborations emerge from this meeting of minds, and what work will set this year’s benchmark for excellence in craft."
