ARMOURY SWOOP FOR PHOEBE BOURKE.
18 September 2024

Is Phoebe Bourke a doctor? No. Is Phoebe Bourke an aerospace engineer? No. Is she a writer, director, and producer who's dead serious about how much fun TVCs can be? You bet your ass, she is.

This attitude has led her to join Armoury for commercial representation. She says: "One of the things I love about Armoury is that they keep it fun while still creating amazing work. It's important for me to stay grounded in this industry and this approach helps because we're not heart surgeons or rocket scientists."

Her and executive producer Matt Hichins are glad to be under the same roof at last: "Matt and I have been in each other's orbit for a while, trying to find ways to collaborate. We've come up with many hare-brained schemes, but sometimes you just have to wait for the right opportunity. It's great when you meet other creatives you want to work with, and eventually, it all comes good."

This is where Matt Hichens smiles and nods like a good EP: "I have to agree with everything Phoebe said about Armoury and them's the rules according to Phoebe! Seriously though, we have been wanting to work with Phoebe for some time and now we have on Remember a Charity, all our hopes and dreams have been confirmed!

"Phoebe really has a first-class degree in all things comedy. She genuinely knows her comedy 'stuff' from concept to script and has shown herself to be brilliant. Alongside this, it's a pleasure to work with her. So for all these reasons, we are very happy and honoured to have Phoebe joining us at Armoury."
