OB42 LAND SHANE MEADOWS.

OB42 have completed the signing of Shane Meadows, director of 'The Virtues' and the 'This is England' saga. Here's what managing director Clancie Brennan thinks about the pride of Uttoxeter: "We are delighted to have Shane join our growing roster. This signing is a true marker of who we are as a company and the engaging content we continue to make."

"As a fan of his work for many years," Brennan says, "I can't wait to create meaningful commercial and branded entertainment together, fuelled by his unique ability to blend humour with poignant drama, creating characters that are both relatable and deeply human."


And how does Meadows, whose commercial reel includes work for the Co-op, Quorn, and the Home Office, feel about this new chapter? "Commercials were ace when I was a kid, and I looked forward to them as much as the programmes they were interrupting."

"I've been away from the commercial world for a few years, but after hearing Clancie's inspiring new vision for OB42, I feel like I can return to the genre and create work with warmth and substance that reflects my voice and style." The Co-op benefited back in 2017—it will be interesting to see who does next.
