MEET FACTORY'S NEW CREATIVE DIRECTORS.
16 October 2020

Experienced sound designers Dan Beckwith and Jon Clarke have been sworn in as Factory’s new creative directors.

Dubbed the "Ryu and Ken of audio" (one for Street Fighter fans), Beckwith and Clarke have risen through the Factory ranks together and become integral parts of 54/55 Margaret Street.

The pair are now responsible for providing the "highest levels of audio craft" to clients, as well as mentoring the next generation of Factory talent. They may even chuck in a hadouken or two.

We know what makes great, award-winning work and we are committed to making every project sound exceptional.

 ”

They'll work under executive creative director Anthony Moore, who says: "Dan and Jon are pure gold. They are Factory through and through and their passion for crafting exciting and groundbreaking sound design is a joy for any client to experience.

"With the creation of Factory Originals and our intention to create wonderful, immersive, and fantastical audio content, Jon and Dan give us the expertise, knowledge, and trust to really push into 2021 with a bang."

Anthony Moore, Factory's executive creative director.

Even if 2021 feels light-years away, Beckwith is ready to go: "We are proud to bring our expertise and experience to help lead the team at Factory in what is proving to be an exciting time in the company’s evolution. We want to celebrate our team ethos… and for clients to embrace exciting ways of working."

Fellow creative director Clarke adds: "We know what makes great, award-winning work and we are committed to making every project sound exceptional. It's what Factory are all about and we want to continue that legacy."
