IT'S KELSEY LARKIN FOR REVOLVER FILMS.
30 October 2024

Kelsey Larkin was born in Chicago, but her heart belongs to Toronto. The city's played a key role in her personal and professional lives, so when the chance to join Revolver Films came up, it was a no-brainer.

She says: "As a director that moves between advertising and filmmaking, teaming up with Revolver— a company with strong foundations in both aspects—instantly felt like home. Having personally known Luc Frappier and Richie Cureton for many years, joining Revolver has been kismet on all fronts."

Larkin, who made waves with her recent short film 'Oyster'—a labour of love in more ways than one—adds: "Their enthusiasm for creativity is exactly the kind of energy I can get behind, and I'm truly excited for what's to come."

We have known Kelsey personally for years, during which time we have witnessed her evolution into an exceptional director.

 ”

This sounds like a good time to hear from executive producer Luc Frappier: "The evolution in Kelsey's work and her voice as a director has been nothing short of remarkable and I'm beyond thrilled to welcome her to Revolver and continue this creative exploration with her."

And what does fellow EP Richard Cureton have to say about all this? "We have known Kelsey personally for years, during which time we have witnessed her evolution into an exceptional director. Her creative endeavours have garnered international recognition, underscoring her talent and vision.

"We share an appreciation for the craft of storytelling and creativity, and we are committed to facilitating new opportunities that will enable her to showcase her distinctive style and abilities at the highest level."
