MOLLY MANNERS SIGNS WITH BISCUIT FILMWORKS UK.
5 August 2019

Molly Manners – who has joined the roster at Biscuit Filmworks – is a director who made her name in the hotbed of talent that is 4Creative. Often marshalling her projects from conception to delivery, she is as impressive a writer as she is a director.

Her satirical trail for 'Made In Chelsea' was a huge viral hit, and demonstrated a fantastic ability to generate the kind of traffic that advertisers crave.

Many of the promos that she made while she was at 4Creative have been garlanded at advertising's many, many award shows, and rightly so. She has a gift for delivering comedy, often with a heightened style which ensures that her work gets the attention it deserves.

As well as her commercial projects, Manners has been active in the worlds of short films and television. 'Here Boy' – a short film she made with funding from Creative England picked up a number of prizes as well as earning a slot on Amazon. And, more recently, she directed an episode of the Sky Arts comedy 'Urban Myths' which focused on an alleged meeting between Andy Walhol and Donald Trump in the 1980s.

Biscuit MD Rupert Reynolds-Maclean on his new signing: "Molly is a brilliant comedy director with a great eye and instincts. Her work always makes you want to keep coming back for more and she's a lot of fun to collaborate with. I'm really looking forward to working with her."

A compliment that Molly Manners returns: "I've always admired Biscuit's work and considered their directors to be among the funniest and best out there. I'm thrilled to be joining the Biscuit roster and working with the team here."
