GERI DOCHERTY ENTERS THE QUARRY.

People move for work all the time, but few move over ten-thousand miles for a job. Australian editor Geri Docherty has done just that, swapping Melbourne for London. Now that the jet lag's worn off, Docherty is ready to show the Northern Hemisphere what she's all about with The Quarry.

"I'm deeply passionate about editing," Docherty says. "It's the one thing in my life that I've always been sure of, and I know I'll be doing it for the rest of my life, so being a part of The Quarry's roster is a really big and exciting step for me. I trust both the leadership and the producers, and in my short time here I've very much felt at home."



She adds: "I feel incredibly honoured to have joined The Quarry roster alongside many talented names that I've looked up to for years. There's so much amazing work being created in the UK and I'm excited to see what the industry has in store for me going forward!"

And what does Quarry bigwig Ben Campbell have to say about the hire? "When we spoke to her on the blower, we were like, “You're bloody awesome," and she was like, "You guys are pretty cool". Next thing you know she's here and she's already working. Geri has a really outstanding reel with bags of potential. We can't wait to see what she does next! Go Geri!"
