IT'S TAOS/S FOR RATTLING STICK.
6 December 2021

Siblings Aaron and Winston Tao aka taos/s have joined the UK directing roster at Rattling Stick.

The Los Angeles-based duo made a splash in 2017 with 'Sleep Well, My Baby', a film that addresses the plight of North Korean women trafficked into servitude in China - often sold into sexual slavery - in their attempts to escape the oppressive regime.

It's a distressing watch, but an important one. By following one true-to-life story, we're invited to imagine the wider impact of trauma and abuse on a national scale. This and the Taos' commercial reel impressed Rattling Stick founder Johnnie Frankel.

"Not only do Aaron and Winston have this natural ability to depict purposeful, moving stories, they're top guys too," Frankel says. "We're glad to have them with us here in the UK and are looking forward to creating some epic work together."

To be rostered with such a reputable and prestigious company as this is a dream of ours.

 ”

Aaron and Winston Tao are equally stoked: "We've been huge fans of their work since we first started in commercials, so to be rostered with such a reputable and prestigious company as this is a dream of ours. The level of depth, detail, and creativity in the talent across the board is truly invigorating."

The pair also pay tribute to the late Ringan Ledgwidge: "He was, undoubtedly, one of the industry's giants. Ringan was a true artist that turned both heads and hearts, so we're incredibly humbled and honored to be a part of Rattling Stick."
